Place: FW Comments: I just read where Phoebe Snow passed away. I love her song "Poetry Man". She had an album in the late 70s or early 80s that was just fantastic.
Place: 66erville Comments: Happy belated Anniversary to Susan & Jake! Congrats to Sam and JD on the new Grandkids. May they have long and happy lives. (Thanks to JD for NOT sending pictures/video of JR coming into this world!!) Got the house cleared out, Toni? Sounds like the yard sale was a big success!!
Place: Garland USA Comments: Congrats to Susan on your anniversary, and to Sam and JD on your new grandones! I have the use of my home back finally, and I couldn't be happier!! Housing furnishings for two families is a real chore!
Place: Texas Comments: Congratulations to the 2 new grandpa's - JD & Sammy; know that you are really pround of your new grandones. Happy belated anniversary to Miss Susan and Jake. Sandra, Congrats to Eli and his sitting-up accomplishment; that's a big one. We had a good Easter; brunch prepared with my youngest daughter. The oldest girl and family were with her in-laws (I guess we have to share sometimes) in the red dirt country of Jacksonville, TX, the other Austin girl and fam were in Tennessee, I think (again with the in-laws).
Place: Garland Comments: Hope that everyone had a great Easter. Bobby and I had a pretty good one with the exception of about an hour spent sitting in the drive through at the Chase bank last night when the storms blew through. Did not really want to sit in the RV with 60 MPH winds coming through and that was close so we joined about 10 other cars there. All of the car washes were full also. I usually go to the Fire Station but Bobby did not want to bother them. If we have another one tonight that is where I will go.
Place: Sachse Comments: Hope everyone had a joyous Easter. We attended 2 Easter dinners, one Saturday in Frisco with daughter and son-in-law Erin and John. Then Sunday we had dinner with Mike's daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Jeff at their home in Sachse. Of course, lots of grandkids were involved at both events. Congratulations to you, too, JD on JR's arrival. You get a bubblegum cigar too. Send pics of him asap. Sammy, I love the photo of you and Cody. It is an "awwww" moment to be sure. Sandra, Eli is a full month ahead of time sitting up alone at 5 months. He continues to amaze.
Place: 67er Comments: Us Northerner's just scooped the dogs up and sat in the bathroom for a while until the sirens stopped, but we weathered the storms!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Got the new G-one photo of Sam's G-son posted earlier this mrng. Too much lightning & storms last night to do it! Ck out the P&J pg, he's a cutie! Hope everyone is safe after another round of bad weather last night! Looks like you folks down south & up north got it worse then I did in Richardson. Hope everyone is safe . . . how 'bout it Sandra, Linda, Pool Guy & others, ya'll OK? |
