Again, you are right KMD!   The 1st movie was Parent Trap.  They did another one or so & one of them was Double Trouble.  Even if that's not the right name, let's just pretend it is . . .  it sounds plausible!

SNL, did you mean "The Parent Trap" from 1961? I loved that movie back then. Lindsey Lohan remade it several years ago when she was still a "normal" kid.

You certainly know how to get me awake!  I love that song & Stevie Ray does a fine rendition!!  Maybe I'll click "save" & add it to the play list for our Sat night reunion party!!

Anyone else like a little Stevie Ray Rock 'n' Roll?

DL - didn't you ever see Double Trouble where Haley Mills played twins who were separated at birth by their divorcing parents!  Ea took one of the babies & they never spoke to each other again.  Then at summer camp they meet . . .  well, you get the scenario.

Shortcake - you take care of your one kinda good knee!!  Can't have you walking like Chester forever.  If you do, Jack's already got several new names picked out for you!!  We'll miss you Sat, but get better soon!!  At the end of April, it will only be 5 mos until our Reunion!!!

Just got back from my Dr.'s office and he recommended no  on the party Saturday so I will see everyone at the big reunion.  He has not released me yet and I don't really feel like having my knee hurt anymore then it already does.  We are trying to keep from having to do a knee replacement on both knees....since the right one has to have one I would like to confine it to just the right one.    So have fun and send pics.

Well, Richard . . .  thanks for the pepper-upper!

I've been meaning t tell you I bought 2 pieces of Calphalon cookware.  Most place only sell the big 12-15 piece sets.  I didn't want or need all those pieces.  But I kept looking and found some stores that sell certain individual pieces.  I got the big 7 Qt stew pot 1st & I love it!!  Cooks the best beans or stew ever!  Also found 3 Qt pot made for cooking potatoes & has a lid with drain holes.  That stuff cooks so well on my gas cook top!!  I have a bunch of the cooking utensils too.  Just wanted to say "Thanks" for the tip & you were right . . . it does cook better than the other pots I had!

Don - Sure hate that your back is still giving you problems.  We'll sure miss you, Linda & Toni.  Will have to hug you twice as much at the reunion!!   I can see where ya'll might have an issue with driving up here.  I mean, with your back hurting & a dog needing medication every day & having to "go" often & quickly . . .  geez!

Sometimes health, family & other things prevent us from being at mini get-togethers.  But, be sure to tell the family, kids & G-kids that 9-30 & 10-1 is YOUR time to be with friends!!  Everyone circle your calendars because we're planning a great party & look forward to having fun with all our SOC friends!!

Sorry we'll also miss the mini this weekend.  I waited to see how my back was feeling & don't think it's up to the long road trip.  PT still in progress & i'll probably need another injection next week.

Also, one of our dogs has an internal infection.  We're having to give him antibiotics & prednisone for the next coupla weeks.  Meanwhile, he's unable to control himself long enough to get outside, so we have 'piddle pads' all over the house.

Sure gonna miss you guys & gals this weekend, especially since many of us have undergone a lot of personal stresses since last time - we could all use a group hug.

Pool Guy - I'd like a rain-check for that drink you offered - don't want to lose out on that.

Well, thanks a lot Annette . . .  there went 2 hrs of my time last night looking at the site you posted!!!  I Loved It!!!!!!!   Couldn't stop reading all the stories about the garage bands.  Some I remebered, some I didn't, but it was a very interesting site. Thanks so much!!

I hate that Linda P & Toni won't be able to make it, but Dane said he was coming & so have a lot of other people, including Mike Dunn.

Gee, as I recall my first micro-mini skirt was worn to Louann's. It resembled a postage stamp!! Hey Annette...remember our chance-meeting the guys from Kimball at the Texas Theatre that Saturday night?  Well, the one that I dated for a while turned out to me one of the members of the Southwest FOB and played on a regular basis at Louann's!  Those were the days!

Happy belated birthday to Carol and Dane.  Hope your birthday was special in every way.

SNL, sorry to report that Bruce and I will not be able to be at the mini on Saturday.  Pressing matters concerning Bruce's son's move to Texas won out.
