Place: Joplin Mo Comments: Thank you so for going to the trouble to check on me! Joplin as I know it is gone! I am so sad about our high school...I have taught there for many years, and I can' t believe I will never teach there again (I will retire before the school will be rebuilt). joplin is getting so much help from all over...iit makes me so proud of our country...we are not alone! I hope to see you this fall. love to you all, Virginia
Place: Garland/Dallas Comments: A big thanks to all of beautiful friends for the birthday wishes. It has been a wonderful week except for Don not being here. I just love being "39" again   . Hope all have a great Memorial Day Weekend  .Hope everyone is saving the date for our reunion.
Place: LV, TX Comments: Hope everyone up in the D/FW area, including family members, survived the storms OK. Quite a change from watching the terrible news in AL & MS a few weeks ago, then MO & OK this past week, and becoming the news this week. All clear down this way, except for some thunderstorms & hail. Prayers for all those affected, here in TX & elsewhere.

Place: 66erville Comments: Forgot to congratulate Butterfingers McGee on gaining a NEW granddaughter. I hear she is really cute. Doesn't look anything like McGee. Well, Coach Grandpa, I guess the team will have to CO-ED!! Glad everybody is healthily and doing well!!

Place: Garland USA Comments: Thanks, SNL - we survived the bad weather but Bruce's son and two of his grandsons were in route to our house during the entire thing. Needless to say, those Alaskans have never seen weather like we had last night. They now live in Keller, and his wife was home with the other two boys hunkered down! Glad to know that Virginia and her husband were safe from the Joplin tradegy. Barbara, wishing you even more happy birthday fun and hope you have a wonderful celebration. 
Place: Richardson Comments: Hey Mike, thanks for the update on your address & nice to see you here on the GB. Yes, lots of us are still in DFW area & many in TX! Stop by more often to see what's going on. Living on the waterfront sounds wonderful.

Place: FW Comments: Happy Birthday, Barbara! You're just getting better by the year! Yes, Sandy, we're fine here. Missy and I spent some time in the closet. My brother and sister-in-law who live a couple of miles north of me in Keller said the tornado went to the south of them. They were without power later on in the evening, but I didn't even lose power.
Place: Sachse Comments: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARB! Hope you have a great one. So glad to know Virginia M. was spared the devastation in Joplin. Hope everyone else fared well last night too. We just got some rain and a little wind and a tiny bit of hail.
