I heard that someone asked LaBron for change for a dollar but he didn't have a fourth quarter.

Fishing huh.  What kind of fishing is there in a desert?? Spider hole fishing? Rat hole fishing? Were they "fishing" at night? I never needed a fire during the day in the desert.

Don F - Glad to hear you're in the clear & also regret that your co-worker was not as fortunate.

Pool Guy - Didn't know your e-mail address had changed til I got the non-delivery e-mail.  I found the new one in Da Bears stuff - we're good now.

Don L.

the fires are north east of my location so no danger here. One of my co worker has a home that was in the path of the inferno and it was completely destroyed.

The whole thing started because some idiots left a campfire unattended while they went fishing. Sad thing - campfires were banned in the area but they did it anyway. Makes you wonder about some people.

Don F - Has your office sounded the fire alarm yet or are you safely out of the path of the wildfire?

Claudia, I've been communicating with you on the Deb photos & info.  As yet we have no official photo of the '66 Debs in uniform. As you requested, I sent you the officers names, but we're now beginning to wonder if there was a photo taken of our '66 Debs?  Our '66 Den does not have one.  Odd?  I sent a note out to many of the Debs, but no one has a grp photo.  Still looking.

The info I sent you about the last yr of the Debs being the 66-67 yr is correct.  The class of '67 had the last Golden Debs.  After that they became the Pivoteers, and well, we know what that became!  Thank goodness they changed the name & uniform so as not to tarnish the beautiful memory of excellence we knew as our Golden Debs!

If any of the Debs come up with a photo I'll see that you get it.

Heads up please.  I don't think I have posted this here before, but if I have, please forgive me.  I am currently working on a Deb History project.  I have managed to acquire info from the very beginning through 1962.  I have communicated with a couple of folks from the 63/forward group, but have nothing to include from those years.  I plan to see Miss Thomas soon and would love to have as much as possible to share with her.  I will share it all with everyone when it is complete.  If you have yearbooks with photos/names of Debs for the years '63-67, please send them to me via email as soon as possible.  That's ASAP! Thank you so much for any and all efforts to help with this! Have a beautiful day!

Sorry, this is a private entry which is only viewable by the owner.

Anniversary Supplemental:
Larry Simons finally caught up with me yesterday and indicated he'd also been having some computer problems - seems like an epidemic lately.

Anyway, he added: "We were married on June 5, 1970.  Ten days later I was drafted, and on the bus to Fort Polk by July 14.  It is 41 years this year."

Once again, major congrats to you & Ramona and best wishes for many more happy anniversaries!

My em must be engraved in your mind, I got emails from you last night.  Although I had noticed it was quiet for several days.  I laughed at the one about the hikers!!

I just thought you were working evenings over at the new house.  BTW, how is the refurbishing coming along?  Paint, flooring . . . ???  How's it going?

Those of you that are accustom to getting emails from me may have noticed not getting any lately. Our home computer's mother board crashed. The hard drive is good, but the computer manufacturers have (again) changed interfaces and I can't find a computer I can plug my hard drive in and recover my addresses and pictures. I may have to break down and take it to a pro shop. I have purchased a new computer and am back on line and rebuilding my address book. So, IF you wish to be in my address book you'll need to send me an Email at my home address so I can capture your email address.
Anybody heard from JD??  I guess he started his ManlyMaids business and is busy building business and cleaning up.  I can't wait to see his logo!!

Please Karen, you are embarrassing me. I am a Jack of all trades, a MASTER of none. Although I am VERY close to mastering all the BAD shot that can be made in golf. One of these days I'll find a way to get even with Pool Guy for talking me into trying cow paddy pool. Then I'll get even for addicting me to it.

So Sandy McG, you're saying that riding in a golf cart with Jack or Donnie is like being at a wake that you can't awaken from? I know you don't really mean that. I have shared a golf cart with Jack many times at the BMF tournaments, and I can truthfully say that I have gleaned a plethora of great excuses for slicing, hooking, fat shots, whiffs and landing in the drink. The guy is a virtual master in this area.
