Place: FW Comments: Rod, beautiful photos of a beautiful state! I've always wanted to visit the Pacific Northwest. You're very fortunate to live there.
Place: Maverick Green Comments: Rod sent me this link. It's showcasing his beautiful Oregon. Nice tune as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=ihV-ddTPvBQ
Place: AZ Comments: Jack the area involved is in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest up in the high country. More than just desert around here. ![]()
Place: Sachse Comments: Hey Rod, that was great! ![]()
Place: Oregon Comments: I heard that someone asked LaBron for change for a dollar but he didn't have a fourth quarter.
Place: 66eerville Comments: Fishing huh. What kind of fishing is there in a desert?? Spider hole fishing? Rat hole fishing? Were they "fishing" at night? I never needed a fire during the day in the desert.
Place: LV, TX Comments: Don F - Glad to hear you're in the clear & also regret that your co-worker was not as fortunate. Pool Guy - Didn't know your e-mail address had changed til I got the non-delivery e-mail. I found the new one in Da Bears stuff - we're good now.
Place: DeSoto Comments: DFW are you sure you're not in Oak Cliff??? Sorry to hear of your co-workers loss.
Place: Hot AZ Comments: Don L. the fires are north east of my location so no danger here. One of my co worker has a home that was in the path of the inferno and it was completely destroyed. The whole thing started because some idiots left a campfire unattended while they went fishing. Sad thing - campfires were banned in the area but they did it anyway. Makes you wonder about some people.
Place: LV, TX Comments: Don F - Has your office sounded the fire alarm yet or are you safely out of the path of the wildfire? http://abcnews.go.com/US/arizona-wallow-fire-hit-power-lines-blackouts/story?id=13798314
Place: Debs Comments: Claudia, I've been communicating with you on the Deb photos & info. As yet we have no official photo of the '66 Debs in uniform. As you requested, I sent you the officers names, but we're now beginning to wonder if there was a photo taken of our '66 Debs? Our '66 Den does not have one. Odd? I sent a note out to many of the Debs, but no one has a grp photo. Still looking. The info I sent you about the last yr of the Debs being the 66-67 yr is correct. The class of '67 had the last Golden Debs. After that they became the Pivoteers, and well, we know what that became! Thank goodness they changed the name & uniform so as not to tarnish the beautiful memory of excellence we knew as our Golden Debs! If any of the Debs come up with a photo I'll see that you get it.
Place: SOC '62 Comments: Heads up please. I don't think I have posted this here before, but if I have, please forgive me. I am currently working on a Deb History project. I have managed to acquire info from the very beginning through 1962. I have communicated with a couple of folks from the 63/forward group, but have nothing to include from those years. I plan to see Miss Thomas soon and would love to have as much as possible to share with her. I will share it all with everyone when it is complete. If you have yearbooks with photos/names of Debs for the years '63-67, please send them to me via email as soon as possible. That's ASAP! Thank you so much for any and all efforts to help with this! Have a beautiful day!
