Place: LV, TX Comments: Sam - I truly admire your openness & will see what Kathy thinks of your approach to conservation through personal sacrifice. But, please be careful about sharing our guy stuff on an open forum, because you know how the ladies will talk & their network is incredibly effective in spreading the word. That could result in pre-emptive strikes before we ever get in the starting blocks. However, I can't think of anyone else I'd like to help save energy & conserve water with! ![]()
Place: Garland USA Comments: Sandy, thanks for the update on Ada. I wish she wasn't so far away from all of us! Bob, we will be sending prayers for Sarah and your entire family. Sammy, keep on keeping on!
Place: LV, TX Comments: Those docs should've nicked Ada's feet, because 'Kicka** Henrie' doesn't need her trachea to stick 'em where the sun don't shine! Glad to hear she's expected home tomorrow & continuing prayers for good news & an uneventful recovery. ![]()
Place: Texas Comments: SNL - thanks for the update on Ada. She has been in my thoughts and prayers. Karen RL - don't rub it in while we are roasting here. We'll be excited when the temp goes to 95.
Place: Richardson Comments: I s/w Joe ( Ada Ann's hsbd) and what was supposed to be a minor day surgery to remove more tissue from lymph nodes turned into complications. While removing part of lymph node they accidentally nicked her trachea! Had to do add'l surgery to repair it. They kept her in hospital & Joe expects them to release her Sunday. She's doing good but disappointed with all the add'l time she's having to spend in hospital.
Place: Santa Fe, NM Comments: Hi everyone - we are in Santa Fe, and heading for Colorado this morning - it is 61 degrees here this morning....I need to get a blanket out - brrrrrrr! Guess we will have to turn the heat on when we get to Colorado!!! I will post pics of us sitting around the camp fire on facebook!!! I know that will help with all of the 110 degrees in Dallas. See ya later.
Place: Website Maintenance Comments: FYI: Got em from our serv provider, Network Solutions, saying the system will be down beginning Midnight Saturday night for 1 to 2 hrs for maintenance. That's Central time! Of course, if you're not a late night owl, you'll never know it was down!
Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: Memo to R. Nance: Be sure and have your people let my people know when you plan to initiate your massive "buying program" which is certain to turn the market around. Don't want to be late onboard. Cordially yours, JS
Place: couch again Comments: Coppell is getting ready to announce water restriction to stage 2 unless all citizens adhere to stage 1. In an effort to reduce water consumption, I suggested to Sarah we shower together. I prepared an excel spreadsheet showing her how much our water consumption would drastically reduce and, therefore our water bill. She finally came around and agreed when she realized she could take the savings and go shopping. Now fellas you know real men pee in the shower, hence another spreadsheet showing the fewer times we flush our toilet and again the money saved. What Sarah could not figure out is why her pajamas were down around her ankles when she woke up every morning and a black marks-a lot on the bedside table, until she had a suspicious itch on her bottom and grabbed a mirror. Guess that did it when she saw the bulls eye target.
Place: CARTHAGE, TX Comments: Anybody heard from Ada and her surgery ???
Place: Texas Comments: I just got an email that said; Satan called. He wants his weather back! Don't know why I got that email, but if it is up to me, he can have it. I'm ready to be cool again. Richard, be sure to watch out for those sand sharks too!
Place: Calif. Comments: Still around Jack. Actually, every year at this time I get the urge to move back toward Texas....only because it's Shark Week on the Discovery Chanel....freaks me out every time and I just want away from the water. However, your weather is making top headlines out here. What's with that?
Place: bigD Comments: TGIF.... saying prayers for classmates and family..... hope everyone is doing well.
