Place: 66erville Comments: Bob, you and your family are in our prayers!
Place: LV, TX Comments: Bob - Tripling our prayers to include Sarah, as well - please let her know. Jack - The 'Left Coast' guy you refer to isn't technically hairless. We have him 'covered', remember? It lives - see misc. pix. ![]()
Place: Benbrook Comments: Sarah will have surgery Monday afternoon.Pray for us!
Place: 66erville Comments: Anybody heard? Did the west coast fall off in the ocean? Haven't heard anything out of that hairless hippie freak, left coast loon in a long time. Noticed his name isn't on the reunion list yet. Can't believe that he won't come, if for nothing else to stir the pot. Maybe we are just to boring for him now. I am looking forward to seeing Carol again and so many others that have signed up. There are still way too many who I am hoping will come that are not on the list. HEY, if I am the reason you are not coming, I'll make a deal with you. Go ahead and come, just make a sign (not too small as I can't see close up as good as I once could) that says NO JACK. Wear it around your neck or stick it to your forehead and when I see that I'll leave you alone. There, now what is your excuse??
Place: Coppell Comments: Sarah showed me a website that is a memorial to our Vietnam friends and family. This may have already been posted on the GB, but if not the website is www.virtualwall.org. She was born in Burney, Ca. And keyed a name of a classmate. It is very informative.
Place: Toasty Richardson Comments: Sam, Keep your positive attitude as we all know Drs aren't always right!! A friend I've known since SOC (he ended up being my brother's best friend for life) was told his PSA was way to high. Sent him to Urologist & had biopsies done. Nothing! Went months later & had 2nd biopsies done. Still nothing! Dr said some times those PSA test lie! This was 4 yrs ago & he's still healthy & no signs of cancer. Goes to show you, Drs only go by statistics and we are NOT a statistic!! Will keep up prayers for good results my friend!
Place: Coppell Comments: I got the results of my PCA3 test and my gene value is 61 percent. Next step is a biopsy in the urologist's office next Tuesday @10:00. The biopsy will be sent to the pathologist's office. Will keep all informed. Thanks for your prayers. I am at peace with all of this. Definitely will be seeking second opinion depending on the results. Sam
Place: Garland Comments: I like them because they don't wipe me out. Sam - take it from me - try to relax and don't panic - I have had it twice. I have pretty much decided that I am not going to have it again so if the Dr. tells me he needs to talk I will just assume that he has personal problems that he needs me to solve for him Decided that having the knee replecement is going to bad enough. So just listen to Jack (for once) sit back, have a drink - and for heaven's sake definitely make sure that you get that second opinion before you panic. ![]() Leaving for Colorado in the morning...will let ya'll know if it helps with the headaches. - bye. ![]()
Place: FW Comments: Karen RL, I used to LOVE Colorado Bulldogs!
Place: Stiffling in Richardson Comments: We've gotten several more people signing up for the reunion in the past few days. If you haven't checked the "Who's Attending" list lately, you may want to look. We also have classmates from 63, 64, 65 & 67 who have signed up! Shaping up to be a good one!!
Place: doctorville Comments: Don't panic, Sam. Those PSA test are not very accurate. there are LOTS of false postives. And there are SEVERAL causes for them to increase besides the C word. Sit back, sip something cold and wait till you hear what the doctor says. Then go get another opinion. Stress is a terrible thing and can do a lot of damage so try not to fret about it. It never hurts to have alot of people praying for you though. And you know you and Ada and shortcake are at the top of MANY list!
Place: garland Comments: pack your bag and come on - you can be the chief cook and bottle washer Toni!!!! I will be responsible for opening and checking the wine!
Place: Garland USA Comments: As Don L. said, we're doubling our prayers for Ada, Sam as well as all others who are ailing. It's entirely too hot to be having any kind of sporting events, practices, etc. outdoors - anywhere! Just heard that the City of Keller has moved their practices indoors. Smart move! Really sorry to hear about the coach at Prestonwood. As a matter of fact, Shortcake is checking out on Thursday for Colorado. I think she should at least take me along!
Place: Garland Comments: Sam - will add you and Sarah to prayer list - will be thinking about you. ![]() Good luck to you also Ada. |
