Place: Reunion Attendance Comments: Had a few more late registrations arrive tda. Going to be a nice crowd for both nights!
Place: Coppell Comments: Sarah and I are going to see The Help next Tuesday night. That is our weekly date night. We heard good reviews and you guys confirmed it. Jack, bite the bullet dude. Stop the deserts. Walk to the beer store instead of driving. You will lose weight! I am honored to be a member of the SOC 66 kick butt club. My mean genes will prevail. SNL, glad to see more attendees signing up for the reunion. Sarah and I are looking forward to seeing all.

Place: 67er Comments: Toni, I went to see The Help today, and yes, it is an excellent movie. Enjoyed it very much.

Place: LV, TX Comments: Sam - This group seems to have a much better record of fighting off the effects of diseases than being taken down by them. Our generation apparently has enough "ornry" in our systems, plus the benefit of medical advances during our time, that many politicians worry about how to provide the care we've earned w/o breaking the bank. Let's all continue to pray for and support each other, as we have, in hopes of taking that bank with us - sometime after our 75th reunion! Prayers & best wishes for defeating this thing & making a strong recvovery.

Place: Sachse Comments: Sam, as I am sure you know prostate cancer is one of the slowest moving and when caught early has one of the highest recovery rates. Way to go JD! I think some of what you "lost" found its way down here to me. I'd like to know your secret. I'm willing to try anything as long as it does not require changing my life style, eating habits or exercising.

Things are going well & we should see some new faces mixed with the repeat offenders! Polish up your Rock 'N' Roll shoes, it's going to be a fun time both nights!!

Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: I have not been able to post as I have been spending my time with Kathy's "Daily & Weekly PROJECTS"...sorry but her orders come first. Please accept my late entries to all the Birthday and Anniversary celebrations...so Happy Birthday and Anniversary. It is very good to hear that our friends dealing with sickness appear to have great chances in beating their specific situations and continue to light candles at Mass for their continued good and improving health. I look forward to seeing all at the reunion and want all to understand that I look a little different. I have now lost almost one fifth of my body weight that was registered in May of 2010. I have now lost 45 lb and continue to work to lose 10 more before I get to Dallas. So if you notice this skinny guy at the reunion sitting all by himself, please come by as I will introduce myself as most may not recognize my me with the new body shape. Look forward to seeing all in September...
Place: coppell Comments: Just returned from the urologist. I have early stages of prostate cancer. Of the 12 biopsiy sections. Two came back malignant. He gave me some literature to read as well as websites to visit. I go back in 2 weeks to discuss options for treatment. Thank you my friend and Soc family for your prayers and continued prayers. ßam
