Mr. Weatherman, I hope your streak of never getting anything right continues!  My prediction for 9-30 & 10-1 . . .  Lots of fun, food, friends & music!!! Not much sleep, High Temps in the Low 80's and Sunshine!

If you haven't done so already, PLEASE mail your Ck this week.  It's important to have a headcount by 8-31 so we will know how many tables are needed, how much food to order, how many centerpieces to make, etc!!!!  Please hep us out by paying ASAP!  Thanks!

So good to hear that Sarah's surgery went well, Bobby. And Sam, it's great to know that your situation has been found early and is treatable. You're in good company in the kick a## club as all the members are tough and resilient.

Belated birthday wishes to Linda Wright McCoy.

SNL, I agree that the growing list of attendees for the 45th is super and I can't wait to see some who I haven't seen in years, in addition to the "regulars". There are still some more I wish would or could attend. If anyone is still vascillating over whether or not to attend, PLEASE come on down. We would love to see everyone.

Sarah and I are going to see The Help next Tuesday night. That is our weekly date night. We heard good reviews and you guys confirmed it.
Jack, bite the bullet dude. Stop the deserts. Walk to the beer store instead of driving. You will lose weight!
I am honored to be a member of the SOC 66 kick butt club. My mean genes will prevail.
SNL, glad to see more attendees signing up for the reunion. Sarah and I are looking forward to seeing all.

Sam - This group seems to have a much better record of fighting off the effects of diseases than being taken down by them.

Our generation apparently has enough "ornry" in our systems, plus the benefit of medical advances during our time, that many politicians worry about how to provide the care we've earned w/o breaking the bank.

Let's all continue to pray for and support each other, as we have, in hopes of taking that bank with us - sometime after our 75th reunion!

Prayers & best wishes for defeating this thing & making a strong recvovery.

H a p p y  B i t h d a y wishes go out to Linda Wright McCoy, today!  Linda – If you’re lurking out there, we hope this finds you doing well & enjoying the youthful idea of popping the short-lived bubbles of your elders, Danny Fugate, Robert McMillan & Linda Jarman Chaney.  Best wishes today & for many more to come!

Sam, as I am sure you know prostate cancer is one of the slowest moving and when caught early has one of the highest recovery rates.
Way to go JD! I think some of what you "lost" found its way down here to me. I'd like to know your secret. I'm willing to try anything as long as it does not require changing my life style, eating habits or exercising.
