Well I was trying to post a picture of our new Granddaughter Remington (Remi) AnnsLee Young. Obviously not smart enough. She was born Feb 9th at 7:44 AM. 6 lbs 14 oz and 19” in length. Stormi and Jeff are both doing fine. Geneva (GiGi) and I are so excited beyond belief.
Many pictures on Facebook

Thank you Sandy, for your friendship and especially your prayers. I am afraid my respiratory system is replicating yours when it comes to the various pollens. 😮‍💨

Haven't been on the computer today until now.  Great News Paul, our prayers have been answered and you are in full remission!!!  Thank you God!  Now that they have to rebuild your immune system, do yo think they can make you immune to cedar, juniper and all the other bad pollen that's been in the air here since Christmas?

Seriously, I know it's been a long hard road for you & Kathy and for your entire family with so many bad and scary things.  As the year goes forward, may your load be a little lighter and the future brighter for you & your family.  Prayers continue nightly.

I need to testify of the goodness of our God.  I am in remission!!!   There is an interesting side story. The protein they had to kill to put me in remission has a good twin brother that is the foundation of my immune system.  The chemo cannot tell the difference and kills them both.  Hence my immune system is shot.  So, they will need to restore my overall immune system AND I will have to get a 4th COVID booster AND I will have to get a special COVID booster emergency produced for blood cancer patients.  I am NOT complaining. Thank you all for your prayer and well wishes.

I think crazy weather is a fixture for the future.  Maybe someone will invent adaptable summer/fall/winter/spring outfits.   Just modify them for that particular day.

Thank goodness, I do know OKC can get some big snow storms.  Hopefully today you have sunshine and warmer temps.  We have some beautiful weather forecast for next week.  Let's see, one week Spring, next week Winter, next week Spring again. You never know what it'll be, and that's why we have winter, spring, summer & fall clothes all in the closet at once!

Good Grief Paul, are you talking about now at your house in OKC or back in Col?  Either way, that's too much snow. Ours was mostly ice, then a little snow on top.  That's the worst!  As soon as that thin layer of snow blows off you are left with a dangerous layer of very hard ice.

One of our 25 + year old Live Oaks at the HOA pool area has 4 big branches broken.  One on the ground & other 3 dangling way up in the tree.  They'll be out Monday to see what they can do, it's going to really cause a big cut back on that tree.  We're lucky , our trees have shed their leaves & ice melted off them Saturday without any damage.

Hope everyone's power remained on!  Haven't heard of any outages of any SOCites yet.  Seems Plano had a lot of outages due to downed trees knocking out the lines.  In our area the lines are all buried.

Just a note: Our address says “Edmond” but we are really OKC. I am going with that from now on.
Having lived in Colorado for 20 years, and having shoveled out of blizzards, I need never see snow again…except in photographs. When your dog can walk up and over your 6 1/2 foot fence to the neighbor’s yard that is TOO.MUCH.SNOW.

We got hit with a lot of sleet and ice but no snow. Have not been out since Wednesday.  I did walk around and take some pictures Thursday.  Saw all of the 18 wheelers stuck out on I10.  Feel sorry for them but really feel sorry for the cars stuck on the middle.  There was about a 15-20 mile backup.  Out there all night and some still there yesterday.  Some of them were getting out of their trucks and going to get food at McDonalds bringing it back for some of the people around them.  Last night at 6 there was still a backup but moving slowly.  There was an RV in the middle of it all.  People were getting out of cars and going to it since they had a generator going with food, games etc.  Hope we are finished with all that.  Oh yeah - one good thing - power stayed on this year!

It sounds like all of you who were in the path of the storm came through pretty much unscathed. That’s good news! Our local forecasters were hinting at Armageddon here; we got maybe two inches in the “hardest hit” areas. I guess it’s better to be prepared for the worst and then be pleasantly surprised when it doesn’t happen than to be totally unprepared.
Hope that everyone is staying well. Love to all.
