Place: May Mini Get-Together Comments: Based on all the great response looks like we're having a Spring Mini. ![[smile]](https://cdn.websitetoolbox.com/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif "Smile - :)") Most have said either date works but quite a few have said only 5-21 works for them. May 21 it is!! I'm on it and will post the full details once I can secure a commitment from the location. This is going to be great!
Place: Beautiful Bosque County Comments: Just re-reading the Mini dates. May 21st would be the only date that works for Jimmie & I. Hope this comes to be. All is well down here in Central Texas,,,,,but please be praying for rain for us and all of Texas. It's getting to the scary point now, fires happen when & where you least expect. Happy Spring !!

Place: Kerrville Comments: Actually May 21st works for me also. I have been battling a severe case of diverticulitis since last Friday. Severe pain in my abdomen that moved up into my chest. Laid in my recliner all weekend with a pillow and blanket and finally tramadol. Dr will decide on Friday what the next step will be. She did make a couple of statements that show she is not from Texas or this area. Can only have wine occasionally and steak should be cooked well not medium. I can kind of understand alcohol but come on - steak well done! Who does that?

Place: Overland Park, KS Comments: Updated info from me - While either suggested mini weekend still will work for me, it turns out that the weekend of the 21st would be better. The other weekend would involve rescheduling an appointment that I had forgotten about. Thanks!

Place: Galveston Comments: We are available on May 21st but not the 15th. Would love to see everyone. Would not need a hotel. By the way, Penny Baxter was a dear friend of mine at SOC. Sweetest and funniest girl ever. I was heartbroken when she moved away before senior year. I would love to see her again.

Place: Repost Regarding the Next Mini Comments: I'm re-posting this because we've had so many great responses! Want to make sure everyone sees it. Next Mini is May!! See previous post below and go back and read who all is interested in attending! Comments: OK, we haven't had a Mini in two and a half years! Is anyone interested in getting together in May for a Mini?? We can't do it on 5-7 as that's Mother's Day weekend. Nor on 5-28 as that's Memorial Day weekend. How about either Saturday May 14 or Saturday May 21? I need to get a sense of how many will attend and if the out-of-towners will want to stay at the hotel overnight. Your input will determine where we have it, so please respond with whether you will attend or not and if you're interested in staying at the hotel. I "think" we will have it at a hotel bar but, a lot depends on how many will attend. PLEASE, respond here with a Yes or No to attend or you can always send me an email. Don't post it on FB. Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: If the final "mini" location selection turns out to be the LaQuinta in The Woodlands, by golly, count me in! Kind of a geographic "midpoint" compromise for the many classmates who live in the greater southeast coastal plains sector (essentially meaning Me and Karen D.)
