Place: Sachse Comments: Rod, hope you and Linda had a great anniversary celebration. Shortcake, you're gonna need that walker for the pillow fight (for balance, not for swinging) on Friday night after the SOC hop. You're not getting off that easy just because of a little surgery. Don't be a "Wendy Whiner".
Place: cs Comments: You know how it is when you finally decide to take a pain pill....you have to eat or get sick....I will bring my stroller and dance with you jack..that way I can keep up!
Place: Sachse Comments: Dinner almost done at 4:30?? Bobby cooking for the early bird special?? You know that is suppose to be for OLD folks, don't ya?? Go ahead and stay or at least keep the walker, Shortcake. You can bring it on the dance floor and do alot of dancing with it. You could even do the one legged twist, the shag and the jerk. You can stroll. No polking, bunny hop or the chicken!!
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: If I get to come to the reunion I can promise you there will be no dancing from me....I imagine I will still be using a cane. They have not started trying to get me off of the walker yet. They said probably Friday or Monday maybe! I have made it all day today without pain pills...but it does hurt. Usually take one before I put the knee immobilizer on. See you guys later....Bobby has dinner almost done...I really owe him bigtime!

Place: Richardson Comments: Oh Wow, yesterday was Susan's B-day & Rod & Linda's Anniversary! Shortcake - Just lay down in the back seat & relax on the drive down. However, there'll be no hopping on the tables this year & no wild dancing. You'r ejust going ot have to act "normal" and sit at the table & laugh at everyone else!!
Place: 66erville Comments: Happy Birthday, Susan!! And wishes for many more. Happy Anniversary to Rod and Linda. Keep working at it! Had a great time at the BMF tourney. My teammates carried me all day, but the weather was great and the friendship even better. We missed you Shortcake. Barbara and Karen MD tried to do your job, but wouldn't do the things you do to get a picture. Hope your pain is easing. Best not to try and drive too soon and NO backseat driving. Looking forward to the reunion and hope you can and will feel like making it.

Place: Garland Comments: A big THANK YOU to all who played and/or helped or came to dinner at the 3rd Annual BMF Memorial Golf Tournament. We had another successful outing. Gave away 2 sonars and an underwater communication system. Some great raffle prizes also.Had the Major for the game wardens and the Fire Chief of Grapevine join us also. Looking forward to next year.
Place: NYC Comments: My memory is not always so good so I don't remember all of my teachers from high school but I do remember Mr. Beiland, In case his daughter ever hears about this GB, she should know how much everyone loved her father. He was a wonderful teacher and a very nice man. And, I loved geometry because of him.
Place: Cypress springs Comments: They are going to try to get me off of the walker and on a cane next week...hopefully he is going to let me start driving again after that. Bobby will be glad also..he is getting tired of his cooking...tonight he has Chase and me...so double trouble. I will just be glad when no pain! missed you guys at the golf tournament...wish I could have been there. still not sure about the reunion but I do have reservations in. Will see what the dr says next week or so. |
