Will keep praying for Docs to kill all the cancer & a full recovery for both you & Ada Ann!!  Praying for good test results for Ada Ann on the bone marrow test.  Love you both!

CT Scan went pretty smooth today. Ada, I chose option three instead of boxers or briefs. Tech thanked me for saving time, left the room then I heard a bunch of laughing among the techs behind the iron curtain. Wonder what was so funny?
Off tomorrow then having MRI Friday.

We have a spot for golf tomorrow at Coyote Ridge in Carrollton if interested. One must be semi obnoxious and like to associate with guys who stare at the cart girls. If qualified call me. An added plus, Botox Browning and Butkus Hughes are not playing.

Great Timing, Sam. I JUST finished my mail order course "Operating the RBeam Equipment". With your approval I'll bet the technician would let me "guest shoot". How 'bout it??
Sounds like good news, Ada. You stay strong.
Shortcake, sorry you are having such pain. If it would help, I'll go with you and have plenty of sticks you can bite on and imagine you are kicking me each time.

Happy Anniversary, Happy Birthday and get well to all of those that I have missed.
Sam, Remember that song, "Glow Little Glow Worm"?....I will be thinking about you in your treatment.  Just a hint with radiation....wear boxers not briefs.
I do not have any lymphoma in my blood.  Now my bone marrow will be checked.   After that, the chemo treatment will start.

Sam - We all tend to mimick whatever we hear in the Dr's office & assume our peers in the SOC boomer community will have no problem decrypting it.  Unfortunately, some of it sounds very familiar.

Next thing, we'll be scrawling marks on paper that only pharmacists can decipher!

A belated birthday wishes and get the heck well to those from last week. Karen, endure the pain of PT. I can't dance with a gimpy gal.
Here's the latest on my treatment. The radioactive seeds implant will not be done. Due to the positioning of my hips, the oncologist said there is a risk of doing damage to both total hip replacements.
I will be having radiation beam treatments. I had gold fiscule seeds implanted today, one on both sides of the prostate. Will have a CT Sim 3D scan tomorrow and MRI Sept. 9th. My firstt of 40 radiation beams start 10 days after the MRI. The fiscule seeds will literally glow in the prostate to direct the oncologist with pin point accuracy to radiate the cancer cells without radiating the healthy surrounding cells and tissues. This concludes RBeam Therapy 101. Pop Quiz in 2 weeks.

Doc Mitchell, I have to admit... using a cell pho is not my thing!  My cell pho is a plain Jane.  No IPho, No Droid, No nothing . . . just talking!!  Looking forward to seeing you & Shirley at the reunion.

Moss Back, Happy belated B Day. Sorry I missed it. I didn't forget, We were in Galveston and I don't have one of those phones that you can use the Internet. Well I do, but it sounds better to say I don't have one rather than let everyone know here on the GB that I don't know how to use one. Well I just did. Anyway Hope you had a good day. See you at the 45th. I think this is the longest post I have ever put on this GB.

Yvonne posted on facebook that she has family in Bastrop that have lost everything.  Fire is so scary, you never know what it's going to do.  Prayers go out to everyone involved.  It certainly put a perspective on life.
Birthday and anniversaries wishes for those that have celebrated the past two weeks.
Bobby B., hang in...I know you are going through rough times, just keep the faith.  We're never given more than we can handle.
Karen, glad you're home and doing your rehab.
