My teammates carried me all day, but the weather was great and the friendship even better. We missed you Shortcake. Barbara and Karen MD tried to do your job, but wouldn't do the things you do to get a picture. Hope your pain is easing. Best not to try and drive too soon and NO backseat driving. Looking forward to the reunion and hope you can and will feel like making it.

Place: Garland Comments: A big THANK YOU to all who played and/or helped or came to dinner at the 3rd Annual BMF Memorial Golf Tournament. We had another successful outing. Gave away 2 sonars and an underwater communication system. Some great raffle prizes also.Had the Major for the game wardens and the Fire Chief of Grapevine join us also. Looking forward to next year.
Place: NYC Comments: My memory is not always so good so I don't remember all of my teachers from high school but I do remember Mr. Beiland, In case his daughter ever hears about this GB, she should know how much everyone loved her father. He was a wonderful teacher and a very nice man. And, I loved geometry because of him.
Place: Cypress springs Comments: They are going to try to get me off of the walker and on a cane next week...hopefully he is going to let me start driving again after that. Bobby will be glad also..he is getting tired of his cooking...tonight he has Chase and me...so double trouble. I will just be glad when no pain! missed you guys at the golf tournament...wish I could have been there. still not sure about the reunion but I do have reservations in. Will see what the dr says next week or so.

Place: Texas Comments: SNL - Wow, now I'll have 2 badges to misplace. Thank you. Mr. Beiland tutored me in geometry when I was in the 10th grade during my study hall period, then next period I had him for class. He was SOOOO nice to me and understood that geometry wasn't my strong suit. He would tutor me, give me a test and if I didn't do well, he would tutor me some more and give me the test again. I ended up memorizing the problems b/c I never understood side angle side. He really helped me to pass and I actually make some Bs in the class.
Place: Richardson Comments: TNX to Ada Ann for remembering "who" Mr. Beiland's dtr is married to frm our class. It's James Pulis! I was able to reach Janis & frwd em to her. An Oil Co was trying to find the family of Mr. Beiland regarding some mineral rights he owned. I have no idea how /why they contacted me?? Hopefully this will be a good thing for Janis & James!! Sammy - What a funny thought!!  I think we may just turn out all the lights in the ballroom to see if you glow!!!  9-30 SOC Hop - 2 weeks from today gang!!!
Place: Coppell Comments: Wanted to give all an update on my prostate cancer. I will meet with the oncologist team next Monday morning to go through a "dry run" of the actual radiation beam treatments which start next Thursday. I will have a total of 40 treatments and meet with the oncologist every Wednesday. I will also meet with the radiation trerapist and a nutritionist if needed. See all on the 30th and if we should have a power failure blackout just follow the glowing dude.
Place: Richardson Comments: I have a favor to ask. Does anyone know how to get in touch with any of Mr. Earl Beiland's family? He was a math teacher at SOC. I have recvd a request frm someone needing to reach his family. He has been deceased for several yrs now. I will not give this person any info on the family, but instead will contact them & give them the person name & pho # to call if they are interested. I never give out info on classmates or teachers, I prefer to give the person the info & let them make contact if they want to. You can never be too careful these days. Thank You, Sandy Lynn
Place: Richardson Comments: Actually Linda, you mailed it 9-14 & I got it 9-15.  Wish you had told me a long time ago you had your badge bec we've already made you a new one. All badges are finished. I'll pick them up Monday. The reunion is two weeks from today!! Gee the time has flown. I'll post the menus & other info about the reunion sometime this weekend. Look forward to seeing all of you & I know you're going to have a good time!!! It's going to be a great two-night party!!
