SNL - It was a mondo-terrific reunion, both nights!  But, these special evenings seem to go by more & more quickly, as they usually do.

Like you, I'm still 'buzzing' over The Mystics & Chill Factor grand surprise performance.  I'm also glad that the committee was receptive to that idea - I'd been kicking it around for a while.

But, that was the easy part - you provided the venue, they handled the music & logistics, and we all managed to keep a lid on the secret til it was sprung on the crowd.  There were lots of gaping jaws, as we expected - great!

Hooray!  All the reunion photos have now been posted.  Since it took me two weeks to drag some photos out of ya'll . . . I guess you can't be too upset with me for taking 2 weeks to get them all posted!    After I got Bill's pics I was able to get one other persons & we have a good array of photos.  Please recheck the Fri night pg as I've added some & then the Sat night pg has two big albums.  Please give the pgs a few seconds to load as there are a lot of photos!

I don't know about ya'll, but our 45th is one reunion I will always remember because I took so many great memories from it!!  Hope everyone had a good time & enjoyed the great company & the many laughs we all had!  And of course . . . who will ever forget The Mystics!!

Ada Ann, I wished you Happy Birthday yesterday on FB but forgot to do it here, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU (and many more).

Congratulations SNL on the upcoming retirement. You deserve it.

Jack, I know how you feel. Wouldn't it have made more sense to let Lewis strike out swinging rather than risk the double play that ended our inning? And Herman? Really???
Hoping for a decisive victory by the Rangers tonight.

I know what you mean . . . Don & I couldn't go to sleep last night until very late & are worn out this morning!  I was so upset all night by some of the unbelievable moves Washington made!  Colby to bat with bases loaded???  And Ogando????  To be up by 2 runs w/2 outs & 2 stikes in both the 9th & 10th and NOT be able to put it away was devastating!  My stomach is still hurting this mrng & don't know how we'll be bale to handle tonight.  For sure . . . this has been an unbelievable WS that none of us will ever forget.  GO RANGERS, you have one more in you!!

Jack - I know, the Rangers had the series in their grasp 3 times tonight, but just couldn't put it away.  I almost yelled out "Keystone Cowboys"!  But, in fairness to the Cards, they managed to interfere with a comeback each time.

I chuckled every time each team's errors were replayed between innings, watching the Cards' short-stop & 3rd baseman bobble that dropped ball.  But, after our right-fielder's glove wound up 'trapping air' at least a foot away from a fly ball that should've been caught to end it all, I became a born-again Coasty, spewed a hot stream of salty-talk & zipped it.

Hope the Rangers & all their fans will be able to unwind in time to get some sleep before the final game tomorrow night - 6:30, Fox.  My cheeks are fatigued from clenching chair cushion, but don't want to miss their shot at bringing home the big prize for the first time ever.

Night all ...

I know that it wasn't the outcome that most of you wanted--but what a game! Hopefully tonight's will be just as exciting but with a different ending.

Washington had lost his damn mind and cost us game 6. Having Lewis bunt, EVERYBODY knowing it so a double play. Then having him hit with the bases loaded. Then he puts in the only pitcher St Louis has been hitting the whole time, Ogando.
We'll see what tomorrow brings. I hope the Rangers have molre let in them than I do.

Well, what a treat that will be!   No wonder you can be free to have lunch Congratulations!   That's a long time to work.  Too bad Don finished the remodel.

Happy Belated Birthday to Mary and Roy.

Had to laugh when I saw the envelope with Captain Bob's

return address

I bet I'm the only person that can pickup a paint brush without paint and still get paint  on me.  My nick name given to me by Courtney and her best friend, since grade school, is Handy Sandy!

Bobby, I would just check for a lawyer on-line.  There use to be Lawyer Referral..but i don't know if that still exist.  So sorry for your situation

Why thank you ladies!  I'm getting real excited!  A few months ago I sat down & added up all my yrs w/SWBell & ATT&T, then ABC & RNA. A little over 44 yrs!!   It was depressing, as of Oct 31, I'm outta here!!  I always wanted to retire on a day/date I could remember . . .  just didn't know it would be Halloween!!
