Place: Cypress springs Comments: SNL...sounds like OCD to me! You and Bobby would get along just great...he is the same way. Dr. Put me on a anti-Inflamatory drug....no blood clots...thank goodness. My knee really is not the problem...it is my foot...be glad when it is well so Bobby can relax also. congratulations on retirement SNL....I know that sooner or later you will learn to relax!!! Lol

Sure was good seeing you & Carolyn at the reunion, hopefully ya'll will have the seed planting & growing by April & join us at the mini.Thanks Sheryl! I like accomplishing things . . . it makes me happy. If I can straighten & reorganize a closet or drawer & make more room or make it look better... I'm a happy camper.  I have this compulsion to organize things, can't help it sometimes. I must have an OCD for organizing!!

Place: Sunny & Bright in Richardson Comments: I'm here! Slept in about 30 mins more than usual & then read the entire paper. Every section! Today I will categorize & file all the reunion receipts & mark envelope as "Paid 45th Reunion Receipts", then pack away all the many boxes of "supplies & decorations" we save so things can be reused when appropriate. Then I think I'll take on cleaning out all the "WORK" stuff that I have amassed in the 25 1/2 yrs I've had a home ofc! Lots of files & paper. It's so pretty out, think I'll go for a walk later. Sorry Jack - Ain't no chance this girl is going to reconsider!! It's kinda scary . . . but I'll find my way & I think it's going to be a great new chapter is this ol' girl's life!!   Yes, Ada Ann you have a precious & adorable Grandone!! I'm waiting now for a pic of the triplets from last night. If any of the rest of you have pics of your G-Ones in costume, send 'em to me! We managed to wrangle getting the triplets for Thanksgiving!! Don will pick them up early Wed mrng B4 Tnxgvn! Just the triplets . . . no parents!! 
Place: Sachse Comments: I wonder if SNL is up yet? Shuhhhh...let's let her sleep in since it's her FIRST DAY OF RETIREMENT!!! Happy for you girl. Enjoy it. Shortcake, sorry you have had a more painful and slower recovery than expected after your knee operation. Hope that foot stops giving you problems real soon. Maybe you should stop kicking Bobby. After all, you have a cane for that. It's been hard to wear a smile after the area sports losses this past week. But the picture of Ada Ann's sweet grandone Sophie as Snow White sure helps. Ada Ann, you are surely blessed.
Place: 66erville Comments: I feel a great disturbance in the universe. The Rangers can't pull out a win. The Cowboys get rolled over. Shortcake's foot is hurting. What is happening that is out of the norm? Think about it... Oh, SNL is retiring. Gee, SNL, look at all the havoc you are causing. Is it REALLY worth it?? Maybe you ought to put in a couple or three more years!!

Place: Beautiful in Richardson Comments: Linda - I haven't come down off the high from the reunion!! I listened to The Mystics again this mrng & between them & my last day of work . . . I'm just on Cloud 9! Still can't believe it's really happening today!!! Waaaah Whoooo!! When Sandra gets back from CA maybe the 3 of us can go to lunch together!! I'm available!

Place: Cypress springs Comments: Happy Halloween .....hope that everyone is having a great day! We were looking forward to being here at the lake but it seems that I have to go see the doctor in Dallas tmr...I am having some swelling in my foot and he wants to check it. I am just not having a very good time! My knee does not hurt....just the foot....and I have to see a dr I don't know. Say some prayers tonight that it quits bothering me.
Place: Sunny & Smiles in Rochardson Comments: Well, . . . This is it, my last official day! Tmo, Nov 1, I will be FREE at last!!! Had a wonderful weekend. Got up this morning & got dressed-up for my last day! I actually have on a nice pair of slacks, dressy top, make-up & I fixed my hair! Usually, unless I have appointments with clients, I'm in sweats with no make-up! Working in a home-ofc has its perks! I'm going out in style!Coasty Don - I got photos from 5 different sources, but no one had any of the Vet table, sorry. Yep, The Mystics made my reunion & that great memory will live on in my mind for a very very long time! I had posted that link about two weeks after the reunion when I got it from David but I'm sure some missed it. If anyone wants to know WHO was responsible for getting 4 of the 5 Mystics back together, arranging for practice time & doing all the coordination for me w/Chill Factor . . . it's David Mitchell. He worked his butt off for more than 3 months to ensure all of this came off without a hitch & to meet our expectations!! He is a sweetheart & we had so much fun doing all of it in secret. Ideas are only ideas, until someone puts the effort & work into making them become realities! Thank You David!!  I still click on The Mystic link at least once or twice a wk. . . so much fun!

Folks - All my 45th reunion photos were lost during the recent Apple iPhone v5.0 upgrade. I hadn't transferred them to my PC at that point, but had no reason to believe this upgrade would be 'destructive', since none of the others had been.
I can salvage most from those posted on our website, including Mystics pix. But, I don't have any of the vets' display table that I took in the lobby and I don't see any on the website.
If anyone has pix of the vets' display table, please e-mail copies directly to me: dlincoln1@austin.rr.com

Place: LV, TX Comments: BTW - David told me that Sat. night they'd be posting a clip from the reunion on YouTube, but he wasn't sure when. Apparently, the videographer did post on 10/3:
"Remember 1966? Well in that year a little band from Texas known as the Mystics had a #1 song in the dallas area called "Didn't we Have a Good Time". Back then the Mystics were pretty much considered, along with a couple of other bands, the top of the Dallas garage band heap. This Ron Price penned recording was the result of a huge battle of the bands that the Mystics walked away with. The little Oak Cliff band that could wound up with a recording that was at the top of the "Top Fourty Survey" for three or four weeks on KLIF! The recording was picked up by Dot Records (huge back then) at the same time that Dot had a shake up and went country, so nothing was done with the recording on a national scale. Too bad, but for a short time South Oak Cliff High school could boast stars in their midst! Saturday night at the 45th reunion of SOC four of the five original Mystics took the stage to perform their classic one more time. I wish the sound quality of this recording was better because they sounded Pretty good! (much better than this camcorder recording) So here we have Robert Ferris, Glen Struble, David Mitchell, Danny Fugate from the originals along with Glen's brother Alan on bass; enjoy!"
