Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: Well we finally had some sun today after 2 weeks without due to cloud cover...now snow expected tomorrow night.
Does anyone what to house swap for a couple of months...???
Place: Sunny & Beautiful in Richardson Comments: Good mrng everyone! We had a great Thanksgiving!! Kids arrived Wednesday afternoon & Don took them back to Austin Sunday. They loved the Gaylord Texan on Friday & they even got to see Santa & tell him what they wanted for Christmas. On Saturday we took them to Collin Creek Mall & they did the bungee trampoline jump thing! The triplets loved it!! Then they rode the kids train next to the trampoline thing. Next we saw a Balloon Guy making animals. . . he made 2 dinosaurs & 1 poodle. Came home, bundled up & went to the park down the street with all the playground eq. It was cold Sat afternoon but they didn't seem to mind. Don & I were the only ones that seemed cold! By the time supper was over they were worn out. Lots of fun & I'll post their Santa photo later tda. Sammy - I know your having a good week just knowing all your treatments are over. Get well, stay strong & God Bless you. KRL - You hang in there girl. You are getting better, just not at the pace you would like it to be. You keep the faith & think good thoughts about the upcoming B-day celebration on Dec 25th. God is good & he is watching out for you.
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: Back at the lake and it has been raining since about 5 this morning  We will be back up in Garland the first of the week - we are moving Mom to Remington Physical Therapy Center. It reminds me of a hotel when you walk in and has everything right there. Baylor was going to send her home in a wheelchair and that would be it....that is probably where she would stay. She will probably be at Remington for several weeks.I am just taking my foot etc one day at a time.  We went to Toni's house the day after Thanksgiving so we could turkey sandwiches and pumpkin Pie!!!!!  My daughter had a cajin turkey and it was to spicey for me so I ate ham over there. Everything else was great though.Hope everyone had a great time. 
Place: Garland Comments: Hay Thanksgiving everyone! Please have a safe, happy and full day. Sammy ..glad your treatments are finished ...thoughts are with you. We are moving Mom to a physical therapy cntr called Remington on Tuesday. It looks like a hotel...I told them to go ahead and register me there. The hospital was going o send her home because she could function on a wheelchair! That is not our goal for her. So Linda and I went out yesterday and looked for a place and liked that one best. By the time we got home my foot was really swollen. Will be glad when it heals. Got to go cook...see ya later....miss everyone!
Place: Richardson Comments: Congratulations Sam on the last treatment!!! Will make Thanksgiving that much sweeter!! Going to my brother's hse tmo, so baked 2 pies this mrng, along with a carrot cake. The kids like carrot cake! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Place: Coppell Comments: Ta da. My last radiation treatment was this morning. Thanks so much my SOC family for your prayers during the past 2 months. You have inspired me to keep the faith and for that I am eternally grateful. Ada and Shortcake my nightly prayers continue for you. Sam
Place: Richardson Comments: JD - Never feel bad about your team doing well . . . I'd LOVE for us to be 10-0!!!! But.... at this point we'll take the paltry 6-4 & hope for a good Thanksgiving win!  Aaron Rodgers, who knew?  He may just lead your pack to SB XLVI.Hope everyone is preparing for a great Thanksgiving feast with family/friends. Triplets will be here by this time tmo & then the fun begins!! If you're on the road, be safe, & everyone hug your kids & G-kids & tell them you love them!! Love to all & prayers for those still going thru treatment & recovering. 
Place: LV, TX Comments: BTW - This is probably one of our least favorite remembrances each year at this time. But, the National Geographic Channel (NGW) aired 2 new programs night before last regarding the JFK's assassination -

I recorded both, but watched only the 1st one this evening. Unlike others, it's mostly a compilation radio, TV, interviews & photos from Dallas stations, police & witnesses on 11/22 & a few days after. I'd never seen most of this. Newscasters were smoking on-air & providing updates as events unfolded.
Couple of the many interesting points made was the very heavy security in place for JFK and even more so for Oswald. Plus, Oswald was referred to several times as the 'assassin' of JFK & officer Tippit, but only once or twice as a 'suspect'.
Place: LV, TX Comments: Folks - We're heading over to LA in the morning to visit with Kathy's family thru Fri. Our elder son Greg plans to drive up from Corpus to meet us there. I bought 2 bottles of PA Dutch this morning, so dessert's already in the bag. Best wishes to everyone for a very safe & happy Thanksgiving holiday. We have a lot to be thankful for & humbled by. So, hold your friends & loved ones close. Prayers for all who are dealing with life's difficult challenges & a special toast to the memories of those passed-on before us.
