Place: Bosque County, TX Comments: Just thought I would let our class members know that Mike Murray is in Baylor Plano ICU. He had a 2nd carotid artery surgery yesterday and although he was released, he had to return and they did further surgery on him after he had a bloodclot. He cannot have visitors at this time - but your prayers would be welcome. We will keep you updated on his progress.
Place: nh Comments: Sammy, Cody is adorable. Aren't grandones great?
Place: Sachse Comments: Sammy, little Cody has the sweetest smile. You are blessed to have such an adorable grandone. Tomorrow night we celebrate my granddaughter Kira's 20th birthday at American Airlines Center in one of the suites for the Dallas Stars game. My son-in-laws' law firm leases the suite and they are letting us have it for the night. We are looking forward to all the great food and drinks that will be served in addition to the great seats to watch the game. ![]() It's hard to believe that Christmas is coming up so soon. I still have lots to do.

Place: Richardson Comments: Don & I drove up to McKinney yesterday & spent almost 5 hrs walking the town square seeing all the shops. Had a wonderful time, as the weather was cool, but sunny. Stopped at El Fenix on the way home to eat and then enjoyed the Cowboys game last night! Can't believe next Sunday is Christmas! Where has the year gone???
Place: Richardson Comments: Rick - Kudos to you for all the hard work you do every year to secure gifts for children! Without you & other harder workers like yourself, many children would have nothing for Christmas! Thank You! Just posted a new Grandone on Pride & Joy. Do take a look. ![]()
Place: Riochardson Comments: Finally, tda we have sunshine! So nice. JD- I'm still laughing about the "house sheriff" revoking your license! Like Rick said, good thing she didn't put out a warrant for your arrest! Sounds like the garage door got the worst of it. Luckily you are Ok & it didn't fall on top of you & the car!! Bet I can guess your Christmas present this year . . . two new garage doors. Merry Christmas Ya'll. Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas spirit!!
Place: bigD Comments: Sorry to hear about your garage door JD. You'r lucky the "in house" sheriff didn't issue an arrest warrant for you. It's that time of year again, time to go to your local shopping mall and pick out an Angel from the Salvation Army Angel Tree. I managed the tree at work and collected $10,700. worth of gifts and cash, I think the army should make me an honorary Elf. Another year come and gone whether we like it or not.
Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: Well, I hope all are looking forward to Christmas as we are. We have decided that we have regressed back to our days when we were small children and received a Davy Crockett coonskined cap and Roy Rogers six shooter...I say this because when I get near the toys available today I want to purchase them for personal use. Well, I guess it's really me and not Kathy.
I have been involved in a terrible accident that could cost me $2,000 and the loss of my license.
I'm safe and not injured but can't say the same for my Garage Door. Yesterday, I was in the car and forgot to open the garage door and backed up...pretty fast. As you might guess I totaled the door and now because we have two separate doors for our garage...we have to replace both doors as the door model is no longer available as they were installed when we built the house in 1988.
My license has been revoked by the Sheriff in our house, and or I must leave my car outside...and in the winter...no one wants their car outside in the cold and snow.
Glad to hear that most of our SOC family are improving from their illness...and Ada Ann...I'm still lighting candles at mass and will continue until I hear you are going to be OK.
Our best to all for a great Christmas and hope Santa brings you what you deserve...respect, love and admiration.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.
Place: Garland Comments: Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers....definitely needed. The Dr. Put an insert in my shoes on Monday but it only succeeded in making my feet hurt really bad so I removed them Seems to be feeling a little better during the day...it just hurts at night now. We have our Choir Christmas special this Sunday at 10 am at new liberty baptist church on Centerville rd in garland. If you like really pretty music you should come and listen to us.
Place: Sachse Comments: Jack, baby Stella is beautiful. Thanks for sharing her picture. Looking forward to seeing pics of Ronney's expected grandone next month, too. I'm not liking the news, Ada, but I know you can kick this too. Prayers to all our classmates needing healing. I hope Sammy and KRL continue to get better. I'm hopeful that rich blessings will inundate everyone this Christmas season and that we all enjoy great times with family and loved ones.
Place: Coppell Comments: I had my yearly physical yesterday including the half gallon of blood the lab withdrew. My family doctor of 25 years called me during lunch today and said my PSA count has dropped from 4.51 to 3.15. He faxed the results to my oncologist which I meet with on the 27th. Thanks to all for your continued prayers. Ada, I have been praying for you and Shortcake and will pray even harder for you. Keep the faith babe!
Place: FW Comments: I'm really enjoying the Christmas pictures on the Pride & Joy page. Ada, I hate the results of your test. It sounds like it's time to get more aggressive with your treatment. Stay strong, sistah! I'll move you back to the top of my prayer list. You and Joe have a Merry Christmas! Sammy, glad you're at the end of your treatment. Ronney, I know you and Connie are on pins and needles! I hope all goes well with the delivery next month!
Place: Richardson Comments: Be sure to ck the Pride & Joy pg frequently as I'm starting to get some more pics & will change them out ever 3-4 days. Right now we have a cutie from Jack & next up from Sammy a Grandone who can't decide which holiday to celebrate! ![]() Dang it Ada Ann . . . I hate that you have a hernia & the scan wasn't what we had hoped it would be. But keep your positive thoughts, as the old saying goes... it is darkest before the dawn! I'll pray harder & the rest of us need to do the same! I'm here . . . whenever you need me for whatever reason!! Love to you & Joe!!
Place: nh Comments: In my CT scan from last week, growth in the cancerous lymph nodes was discovered. Also, some other nodes are involved now. I will see a hemotologist-oncologist next week to see if he thinks it is time for treatment or to continue watching them. PLUS, I have a hernia!
Place: Allen, TX Comments: Sammy, you and Sarah have a GREAT Christmas. So happy you are doing well. Get plenty of rest, ol' buddy. |
