Place: Garland Comments: Moms surgery is at 1 today ..we are taking my mom home today! One in the other out...going to be real long day.
Place: Garland USA Comments: Just trying to catch up. Been off the chart for about two weeks and I cannot believe everything that has been going on as I sit at home just passing time! Let me see if I can remember it all.....belated birthday wishes to Sally Taylor and daughter Eleni, Mike Dunn, and David Mitchell. Thanks for the birthday wishes to Carol Carpenter and Jack Hawkins. Get well soon wishes go out to David Mitchell, Duane Chafin and Mike Murray. Sammy Smith so glad to know you are feeling better too. Congratulations to Richard Nance on your new business venture! Happy belated 44th Anniversary to Don and Barbara Fugate! Congratulations to Ronney and Connie McKee and welcome little Lila Kathleen McKee - your life will never be the same! Condolences to J.D. - it's tough but someone has to lose! Prayers for Ada Ann Henrie Wingate as she goes through chemo and showing them who's boss. Our heart-felt condoloences go to Sarah and Sammy Smith for the loss of her sister, Mary. Continuing get well wishes go out to Karen Reynolds Louton, her mother, and here's hoping that Bobby's mother's surgery goes well, and that little Shelby has someone left that is well enough to take her to Spaghetti Warehouse for her birthday. Finally, Bob Bradford, you and your family are in our hearts, our thoughts, and our prayers. Wow.... I need to take a really deep breath! Did I mention what beautiful grandones we all have?
Place: Richardson Comments: KRL - I can't believe Bobby's mom has now fallen & broke her hip too! Yall have certainly had lots of medical problems & the saga goes on. I'm sorry sweetie . . . hang in there & keep the faith!  Bobby - I am so sorry to hear of your terrible predicament. Are you & your wife both still working?? I know you were talking about fiing Bkrptcy the last time you posted. Did you? You & your family will certainly be in my prayers.
Place: Benbrook Comments: My heart is saddened by the things I read.My prayers are out to those in need or in pain and sorrow. I need your prayers. My electricity was turned off 2 wks ago.I am in the hole $250 and we get paid next Thursday.I care nothing for me. I do have an 11 year old.So , you that pray, hit your knees for us too.
Place: Cypress springs Comments: Headed to garland today...My pt on hold for a couple of days. Mom is supposed to go home Friday - in a wheelchair! She is putting some weight on leg but has to go back in and have two of the screws removed...they are coming out! Bobby's mom fell last night and broke her hip. They are going to do surgery on her on Friday if her cardiologist clears her for it. Going to be a hectic week. One good thing...Shelby's bd is Friday ...she wants to go to spaghetti warehouse.
Place: Richardson Comments: David, so good to hear you are doing well. Hope your back will get better as you go along. Now that you're home your recovery will be much easier with Shirley there to help. Nothing like sleeping in your own bed! Speaking of rehab . . . I went to see Mike Murray this afternoon. His rehab place is here in Richardson. He has been thru a lot & has a long road to go! Had one side done (carotid artery) & it went well. Right after the reunion he had other side done. His dtr was driving him home & he had a stroke! She turned around & took him bk & he was in ICU a long time, then a rm. He's bn at the rehab place since Dec 30th. Stoke affected his ability to swallow. Has a feeding tube. His speech is good but can't move his left arm & can barely move his left leg. Still has a long way to go B4 can leave. But, his spirit is good & he was very talkative. Had a great visit w/him & he is getting very good care. He sd Bovie came to see him last wk. Prayers are still needed as he has a long way to go.
Place: home Comments: Back home now from rehab. Saw the Dr. yesterday. Hip is healing well. Still have pain but walking better. may have injured my back again in the fall.Thanks to all for your kind words on this site and face book.Also thanks to you who sent cards and notes. It feels good to have such good friends after all these years. Thank you all. Later, Doc.
Place: Sachse Comments: Sammy, please let Sarah know how saddened we all are by the loss of her precious sister. My prayers are with her and all the family. Good news to hear that Mike Murray is improving. And I know Ada is going to get through her newest challenge with strength, courage and a great outcome.

Please give her our condolences & let her know our prayers are with her & the family. Ada Ann - I thought of you all weekend & will keep you in my prayers as you bravely start your chemo journey. God be with you! Karen PH - Thank you so much for the update. I know exactly where the place is bec my dad was just down the road for more than 4 yrs. I will call & go see him this week.
Place: Garland Comments: Sammy ...thoughts and prayers are definitely with you guys. Also with you Ada! Thinking about you JD! I am sure you have gone into seclusion after that stunning loss yesterday. Do you need anything....Kleenex, drugs, alcohol? We still have your credit card so expense is not a problem!
Place: NH Comments: Sammy and Sarah, I am so sorry....I will keep you in my prayers. All of you who's birthdays, illnesses, anniversaries, grandones I missed.....I am always thinking about all of you. My chemo journey begins this morning....ready to get the show on the road.

Place: coppell Comments: We just received word from Sarah's brother. Mary was taken off life support and passed away 20 minutes later. Thank you for praying for the Farmer family.
Place: Bosque County, TX - Casa Grande, AZ Comments: Sorry I haven't gotten back on the guest book with info on Mike Murray lately - but really we were waiting on word from his family to get his status out. Mike moved shortly after Christmas to Reliant North Texas - 3351 Waterview Parkway, Richardson. He is doing his rehab there and is progressing very well. Daughter Cindy says he needs to have visitors now to help him in getting better. I know he would love to see any of you who can go by. He has about 3 hours of therapy daily - so maybe a call before you go would make sure he was available. The number there is 972-398-5700. Jimmie & I are back in Texas for a few weeks. Got to spend a great evening last Saturday with Barbara & Don Fugate out in AZ. We all share a love of the area and are so happy that we are all out there. BTW - this time of year is super great in AZ! |
