Roe, I hate to tell you this, but that is real close to what my Mother keeps telling me. She says "old age ain't for sissies". Pool Guy, are you getting pictures of your "procedure"? When you do we can compare. That tiny camera takes real clear, sharp pictures. If the rest of your are interested, we could post them here. Or everybody could post theirs and compare them all. Just send them to SNL and maybe she'll set up a tab for an album. Any ideas for a name for that section?

Place: bigD Comments: I just got a report from Eugene, His Uncle Sonney is thinking about giving the ring back. It seems the ladies won't leave him alone. The 55 year old lady visits him every day at home, brings food and wants to spend the day with him. His 85 year old hart can't take it when another shows up and they spend the rest of the day insulting each other and trying to make each other leave. He got a phone call from #3 and made the other 2 mad so they left and took the food. 55 won't give up though, she came back the next day with more food. Uncle Sonney says he didn't see this much fighting in the Koren War but he's getting a lot more action.
Place: Garland USA Comments: Just checking in....Jack! It's not a farm, its a cafe! It really is quiet in here. Sandy Joe, sure hope everything goes well for you! Anyone heard from SNL? Continued prayers for all of our friends who may be ailing.
Place: Need I answer? Comments: Tin Cup Capps, man I'm laughing with tears in my eyes. That video is just what I needed the night before my first Roto Rooter. What a way to lose 4 lbs. in 5 hours, Huh? My Doc was shocked my first is at age 63, kinda stupid. I buried a friend last month with who had Colon Cancer. ALL of us need to do this. Please schedule an appointment. Gotta be around for Ms. SNL next party.
Place: Marsalis gang Comments: Tomorrow my good friend Fingers (Sandy McGee) is taking his first step to preventive medicine. A short clip of the procedure Fingers is always helpful, that's what friends or for.
Place: 66erville Comments: Sure is quiet around here. Seems that when people retire they retire from the guestbook too. Does that mean that the posters post while at work and when they don't go to work they forget about the guestbook? Anybody heard from Sandy Mc in a while?? Since Richard has started his own business, he should be on here all the time. Pool Guy says he can't post because he is always in somebody's backyard. Tony drops in, apparently when things get slow on the farm or whatever that is on face-book. Bovie is scared of the computer (he's afraid he will catch a virus, I think) JD is busy running his Manly Maid Service or buying Green Bay Junk on EBay. Oops, gotta run, the mailman just put something in the mail box. Hope it is a check and not a bill.

Place: 66erville Comments: Great Story, Rick. I think there maybe a lot of us that would like to have a magic ring like that. If you can't get the ring back, I hope you at least get what you paid for it. Heard a story this morning about some guy going overboard from a cruise ship out of Galveston. Hope it wasn't Bobby! Hope Charles and everyone else is feeling better.

I sure hope the initial report on Charles is something other than pancreatitis (inflamed pancreas):

Many thanks to all who sent prayers, kind words & expressed concern for my brother Doug. After discovering a relapse of cancer, he resumed chemo with some newer drugs. His most recent lab & scan results were mixed. The 2 original spots detected were no longer present, but 2 new ones appeared. He's decided to continue treatments, for a while at least, so long as results show some improvement. More to follow.
BTW, SNL & Don/Barb - Checks going out tomorrow for website & BMF support.
Place: Richardson Comments: Charles Moss cld few min ago. He is in the hospital again. Went in Thur night. Having lots of trouble with his stomach. Excuse me for not remembering better, but I think he said it was pancretitis.(sp ?) He hasn't been dng well at all this yr, so keep him among the SOCites on your prayer list.
Place: Richardson Comments: I will be packing up this evening & driving to Austin early in the mrng. Will be taking care of the triplets, 2 yr old Brooklyn & an old dog! Will be there thru Sat. Stephanie's mom has stabilized a little, but her heart still isn't working good enough to handle it. She has an external pacemaker attached and a heart pump inside her heart doing most of the work. Can only expect heart pump arrangement to work temporarily. Drs say max of 18-19 days tops. Tda is day 12. We're praying her heart & other organs will kick-in any day now. It's just a waiting game & the Drs don't really have any other options. Thanks you for the prayers you've sent & please, could you keep praying, as Diane Sutton needs all the help she can get to make it thru this. I can't begin to describe how critical Diane is & how distraught Stephanie is. Being at the hospital 5-6 hrs a day is wearing on me too. Please remember all our classmates as well who are ill, going thru treatments and/or struggling to recover!! I will try to ck-in on the GB late at night if I can. Ya'll be good & 'll catch you later.

It will really be great to get away and just relax for a few days.
