Place: 66erville Comments: Great time at the mini. Enjoyed talking to the 63ers. Only had to put up with Dagley's and Roe's sports stories. You know how to keep a double-dipper out of your salsa? Keep the chips out of his reach!!! Fugate, when did you take up golf?? And baseball? You find a Robeson Ranch league to play in?? Most of you that didn't make it, were talked about. Rick showed up just in time to save himself!! Good place and service. Now if they only stocked Gentleman Jack it would be perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, I'm waiting for Bobby to call or was hoping at least Toni might have heard from him. Nothing yet! Maybe he won't call until she's out of recovery . . . now I'm worried! Ya'll aren't crazy . . . . it's me!!!!!!!!

Place: TX/AZ Comments: Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. Had a great weekend of golf , baseball ,good food and great friends. Sorry we missed the mini but will plan to be at the next one.
Place: Richardson Comments: Honestly, I haven't been trying to post the pics since this morning!  I already had them sized & was gng to load 'em up after I made the post. But . . . the ISP had other plans. As soon as I started loading, a window popped up & said they were having a problem & to check back in a few hrs. A FEW HOURS!! I moved on to other things and will start fresh in the mrng. Tomorrow 8:30AM KRL will have her 2nd knee replaced! Good luck kiddo, I know this one will be a home run! You'll be ready to boogie at the next mini! Prayers for you tonight . . .
Place: Garland Comments: Hey Rick ...sorry you missed seeing me Saturday...I am sure you were devastated! Tmr is the big day....we have to be at Baylor Dallas at abt 6:30 with surgery at 9:30. Should be in the hospital until Friday. Be good while I am "out-of-commission"
Place: 67er Comments: I too had a good time Saturday, enjoyed visiting with the the ladies while in my big comfy chair, also, missed some of the regulars who didn't make it.....maybe next time. Stay cool my friends....... 
Place: Richardson Comments: Cathy - I like your enthusiasm! We really enjoyed having you & Fred join us Sat. Hopefully next time you won't have just arrived at DFW airport & rushed to make it! Then you can have the pleasure of enduring Jack & the rest of us for 4 full hrs plus dinner!  Thank you for coming, we really enjoyed you both!I'm working on the pics right now.

Place: Richardson Comments: Glad you liked it Susan. Everyone had good things to say about the Hyatt. I liked it too, especially those big comfy chairs! It was a fun afternoon & so was dinner at El Fenix. KRL sent me her pics this evening & between the two of us I have some good pics to post. Will get them sized, labeled & posted within the next day or so.

Place: Richardson Comments: Had a great time at mini yesterday!! As always, we were pleased to have some first-timers at the mini. Was happy to see Cathy Wood Nickols & hsb Fred (Cl '65) as well as Lynell Smith (Cl '63), James Anthony (Cl '63) & Jean Anthony ( Cl '64). Always fun to hob nob with the older crowd.  Plus Sue Ash McDow was able to make it after a long absence.And yes, we do need to pray for Sue as she is almost on the official Donor List for a new liver! It's a long grueling process & she hopes to be on the list within a wk or so. Also Shortcake is having the "other" knee replaced this Tue!!! Both need our prayers. Sue-to get on that list soon & for a donor as soon as possible. KRL- for this knee replacemnt to go better than the 1st one!! Yes KRL & I took pics, will get them up w/i next day or so. Thanks to all who came . . . it was a lot of fun! Everyone said they liked the Hyatt's Bar!!
Place: Coppell Comments: Sarah and I had a great time visiting with everyone yesterday. Thank you Don and Sandy for the drinks. Had a good time sitting with Ronney, Connie and Donald Milikin, and thanks Donald for the nostalgia trivia questions. It brought back a lot of good memories. El Fenix was a blast except for J. Hawkins eating all the chips. He was gracious enough to leave me some crumbs though. We would like to see more attending the reunions. .
Place: Fort Worth Comments: Had a great time at the mini yesterday catching up with everyone. To those who didn't get to attend, we missed you. We need to put Sue Ash McDow and Karen Louton on our prayer lists.
Place: Dallas Comments: I had a really nice time at the '66 mini-reunion yesterday. I enjoyed hanging out with Jean and James Anthony from '63, and it was great to meet the brothers of two kids I knew at Lisbon, Barbara Harrison and Marty Smith. SOCites are the best! Sandy, you are a dandy! |
Just so you don't think you've lost it (or that maybe I've finally flipped out!), I know the last 2 pics in album are not from this mini. KRL(& her camera) were leaving just as Cathy & Fred Nickols were arriving. They got there after 4:00 & by that time my camera batteries were dead. No pics were taken of Cathy & Fred. Rick also got there pretty late & I got nothing of him either!! My apologies to Rick, Cathy & Fred!!
