Place: Dallas Comments: I had a really nice time at the '66 mini-reunion yesterday. I enjoyed hanging out with Jean and James Anthony from '63, and it was great to meet the brothers of two kids I knew at Lisbon, Barbara Harrison and Marty Smith. SOCites are the best! Sandy, you are a dandy!
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: had a great time at the mini yesterday
See everyone at the next one.
Place: Allen, TX Comments: Speedy: I really enjoyed getting to sit and talk with you and your lovely wife, today. I don't think I have ever had the chance to chat with you. Really enjoyed all the laughs. Looking forward to visiting with you at the next get-together.

Place: Denton Comments: Well, long time, no visit...been really busy getting insurance licensing...P & C, Catastrophic Ins. Adjusting Certf. and last but not least Life & Health...enough...going to work for my son, Shawn, at his financial planning company in Ft. Worth. Question: Does anyone remember a girl named Pat Foster? She and Sherry Vigne were really good friends, still are. Meet her at her brother's book signing party. She is in Austin and we really had a good time connecting the "pieces". Won't get to be at mini...going out of town. Ya'll have a great time, as always!

Place: Richardson Comments: Ronney - surely lightening won't strike twice regarding your car battery! See our EVENTS pg for full details.
Place: Calif. Comments: I have a vivid memory of my great-great grandmother (98 at the time), living with her single daughter and everyday saying 'turn those kids on the TV". She watched American Bandstand everyday. I'm also glad to hear Dick Clark was apparently a really good guy. Too often that's not the case in the celebrity universe.
By the way..........how y'all doin'?
Place: Allen, TX Comments: I agree. Dick Clark's passing is sad, but not really all that unexpected. His health has not been all that great for about 10 or more years. When he had his stroke was more shocking to me. He always seemed to be the picture of health and youth. By the way, like last spring, Connie and I will be a little late to Saturday's get-together. And, like last year, it is because we have to attend a wedding. Hopefully, we won't have car battery issues like we did last year. I anticipate we should get there around 3 p.m. Looking to see everyone.
Place: Richardson Comments: It broke my heart when I saw it on the Nightly News about the one & only Dick Clark. I loved American Bandstand & would make sure I was home in time to see it. That's where I learned to do all the latest dances . . . watching those crazy kids on Bandstand! He was a music icon, but was always young-at-heart!!
Place: Coppell Comments: So sad to hear the passing of Dick Clark. He went in for an outpatient procedure. He was the king of TV DJ'S. Loved to watch American Bandstand. |
