Place: Garland Comments: I should have known there would be a reason you want me to be captain, other then I am probably the best bowler.
Place: bigD Comments: Shortcake, after you get both knees replaced we can start a SOC bowling team. I think you should be the Captain. The Captain brings the snacks
Place: Garland Comments: you are really bad Happy Jack
Worked with your nephew yesterday....it is just really difficult to believe that you two are related....I mean he is so tall, good-looking and fun to be around
Place: 66erville Comments: Bunk Beds, huh, Sam. I guess life does go full circle. Who gets to be on top??
Place: Richardson Comments: Oh My Sammy, what a mess you & Sarah have to clean up!! I'm so sorry for all the damage ya'll recvd. But mattress in the bathtub is still the best chance of survival , unless you have an underground cellar!! We had about the same situation as Ronney . . . no high winds , small pea size hail & heavy rain. They keep playing that video over & over of the tornado hitting that truck Co & the trucks/trailers being flung all over everywhere. It's made National & International news! As bad as all those 13 tornadoes were (They were all F2 & F3) it is still amazing no one died in all that destruction. KRL - I know your other knee must hurt really bad for you to now have it also replaced. Hopefully this one will go smooth & heal quicker. Glad you're doing it after the mini so we can see you on 4-21!

Place: Garland Comments: Left foot is still numb in spots jack. I have changed dr and will get it done in dallas this time..at big Baylor ..So hopefully everything will go great.
Place: 66erville Comments: Sorry to be posting again so soon, but wanted to tell ya; I had to go to Huffvines post office in Richardson Tuesday afternoon about 3 PM to check my old PO box. I noticed the clerk area was closed and locked. I wondered what happened to "Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow shall defer this courier from his appointed rounds" stuff. I pondered that for a minute and realized that it said nothing about tornadoes or hurricanes!
Place: 66erville Comments: So sorry for the loss of your stuff, Sammy. But glad to hear that your roof is not leaking! Probably ought to have the insurance guy look at it anyway. Shortcake, you are brave or crazy to have the other knee done after all you have been through. Is your left foot now OK? Hope this next procedure goes smooth and easy and rehab is a breeze. JD maybe you can take the insurance money from your trailer and buy a RV or large travel trailer and park it in AZ as your winter home. Maybe Jimmie and Karen will tell you where the good parks are. There is probably one near the Indian casino
Place: Garland Comments: I was at Fire Admin yesterday during it all but Bobby was in the RV right in the middle of everything.....rockin and rolling
I am going to have my right knee done on April 24th at Baylor Hospital. Got a new Dr. - Dr. Shurbert at the Carrell Clinic. I really do like him. He did x-rays and said the knee had severe damage. I asked him if he could do it without making my foot numb and I think I insulted him...But he said he could. I explained about my right foot and he understood. After surgery I will go to Remington Rehab Center in Richardson for Rehab. It is right off of George Bush Turnpike and pretty nice except for the pain they inflict on you.
Place: Allen, TX Comments: Well, Sammy, the tornadoes must have jumped over Allen and McKinney, too. Our alarms went off for a few minutes. But, no tornado. No high wind. All we got was some heavy rain and a little pea-sized hail. Thank God. Glad we missed out on all of that fun. It was ironic that all of this happened the day after the 55th anniversary of the horrible Dallas tornado. A friend of mine was upset because we were having tornadoes at this time of year. I asked him what planet he was from. This IS tornado season, for crying out loud. haha!!
Place: Coppell Comments: I was watching Pete Delcus' weather report. Said tornado and large hail to hit Coppell @2:21. At 2:15 the city sirens sounded. Grabbed a bunk bed mattress and got in the bathtub. The tornado jumped over Coppell and headed towards Allen and McKinney. We had baseball size hail that pounded my roof, destroyed my gutters, BBQ.grill, fence gates, patio set and made 2" diameter holes in my front and back yard. We have no wet ceilings inside. Dallas county and Tarrant county citizens are so blessed that no one died from all this terrible destruction of homes and businesses. Glad everyone is OK
Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: I guess I can't ask anyone to go look at my last investment in Lancaster...It was the BLUE 30 ton trailer I saw flying in the air from that truck depot.
