Place: Richardson Comments: We were lucky, only got some on/off rain this morning . . . No Hail or whipping wind! Sammy, hope you got off easy this time too! Good news, Mike Murray will be attending our mini on Sat!! When he left rehab he moved in with his dtr until he's mobile enough to live by himself again. I cld & ask if she cd bring Mike. Said they wd discuss it & she'd let me know. She just cld & YES she will bring him so he can visit with all of us. He's still having to use a wheel chair, as he can't move his left arm & leg very well. Soooo, if Mike can attend even though he's in a wheel chair . . . what's your excuse for not attending??  Hope everyone will make a choice to attend Sat! 
Place: Richardson Comments: Sammy - Might be wise to at least wait a few more weeks, looks like round 2 indeed!! Ronney - Thanks for letting me know I listed the wrong corner. Yes, the Hyatt is in the NE corner of Campbell & Hwy 75!! At least I got it right on the earlier post!  I know where it is . . . I just can't type worth crude!!  As a reminder about the name badges we did for our reunions beginning with the 40th. Many of you turned in your name badge on Sat night after the reunion. THANK YOU!! If anyone is coming to the mini & you still have your name badge, PLEASE Bring It With You!! I will keep them until our 50th & hopefully we won't have to make so many badges next time. I promise, you won't even have to wear it at the mini! 
Place: Highland Park Comments: Baby sitting the three grand kids while Marsha and Jeff are in Crandall placing an offer on a very nice home. Jeff has accepted the position as offensive coordinator. The new head coach also comes from HP. Thank you Sandy and Don for the drink offer. We'll gladly accept. Looks like round two of winds, large hail, and possible tornado's to hit the metroplex Sunday morning from 9:00-3:00. We are going to hold off repairs until mid July.
Place: Allen,, TX Comments: Small correction, Sandy. The Hyatt is on the northeast corner of Campbell Road and Central Expressway, not the northwest corner. I make that mistake when giving people directions ALL the time. Connie is going to find her name tag and bring it, next weekend.
Place: McKinney Texas Comments: Toni Jett, your Dad was an outstanding football coach, and a great History Teacher. Those of us fortunate to play for him learned how to work hard in practice, work as a team, and enjoy the games. I remember him telling me on Fridays how lucky we were to have the opportunity to play that night. He always stressed the memories would last a lifetime. They do. He made an impact on us, and is always spoken with respect and love by everyone. He offered me a job to work for him at S.O.C., and to this day I regret not taking the offer. They just don't make em' like that any more. Sandy J. McGee
Place: Richardson Comments: Darn it Sammy, I hate that Sarah lost her job Monday!!! But the bright spot is that Ins Co came thru & ya'll got fully compensated for your home repairs AND the outdoor stuff! Look frwd to seeing you & Sarah at the mini & Don & I want buy ya'll whatever you are drinking! Seems the least we can do for someone recently unemployed & with so much damage to their home. See ya Saturday 4-21!  FYI - Everyone remember . . . Mini is at the Hyatt in the NE corner of Campbell Rd & Hwy 75 in Richardson this time!!
Place: Coppell Comments: Update from the Smith household. 04-09 was Sarah's last day at Grubb & Ellis. Got her pink slip from BGC, the company that bought Grubb out of bankruptcy. 04-10...... Sarah applied for unemployment benefits on line. State Farm adjuster totaled our roof, gutters, BBQ grill, patio set and landscape lighting. Wrote us a check on the spot with no depreciation as everything was only 9 months old or newer. See ya at the mini!
Place: Richardson Comments: Hi Toni Jett!!! Thanks for dropping by to say Hi to your Dad's old players & students! Your Dad was one of the Good Guys, I'm so sorry for his passing. KRL - Power is such a precious thing . . . be careful how you use it!!

Place: 66erville Comments: Rick, that is a great idea! Now will this be a traveling team(s) or are your going to try and find a bowling alley centrally located and bowl there?? If the captain brings the snacks, who provides the beer?? I'll start looking for my ball, bag and shoes. The bag and shoes may have dry-rotted, but the ball should be OK. Do seniors bowl with a lighter ball? Anybody have a old hot tub we can fill with ben-gay for the after the games party??
Place: Richardson Comments: Sally - Always good to hear from you! You are a good sister & dtr to spend your vac helping them. Your sister is carrying a heavy load & I'm sure she appreciates having your support. You're right, getting old is no cake walk. We're at the age where we're trying to take care of ourselves AND we're either currently, or have been, taking care of our parents! Plus we have children & G-kids too. I've been down the road your sister is traveling and it's not easy. I'm sure you would do the same if you were the one living in Galveston. Love to you & your family!!
Place: NYC Comments: Sandy, So you don't feel alone. . . Sorry, I won't be able to make the get together. I spend my vacation time going to see my father in Galveston and helping my sister who tries to keep things in order and hold down a job as an accountant this time of year. I can't do enough for either of them but that is what I do. It is tough getting old!!! Sally
