Well, long time, no visit...been really busy getting insurance licensing...P & C, Catastrophic Ins. Adjusting Certf. and last but not least Life & Health...enough...going to work for my son, Shawn, at his financial planning company in Ft. Worth.

Question:  Does anyone remember a girl named Pat Foster?  She and Sherry Vigne were really good friends, still are.  Meet her at her brother's book signing party.  She is in Austin and we really had a good time connecting the "pieces".

Won't get to be at mini...going out of town.  Ya'll have a great time, as always!

Richard - I'm doing great!  Love retirement . . .  haven't slowed down any since I retired!  Don & I are landscaping our backyard.  Chiseled stone edging around 2 large flowerbeds & a pavestone walkway that comes off our patio & curves around to the side of the house.  Lots of rock & pavestone cutting required on those curves!   We'll take tmo off so we can attend the mini & then get back to it Sun.  Hope to finish & get all the dirt, rock & crap cleaned up by end of week.  THEN, we're going to move the water hose hydrant from right there by our patio to around to the side yard.  It's ugly right there next to the patio.  That involves digging by hand an 18" trench abt 20' long.  Lots of work, but sure looks good so far.

I have a vivid memory of my great-great grandmother (98 at the time), living with her single daughter and everyday saying 'turn those kids on the TV".  She watched American Bandstand everyday.  I'm also glad to hear Dick Clark was apparently a really good guy.  Too often that's not the case in the celebrity universe.

By the way..........how y'all doin'?

It broke my heart when I saw it on the Nightly News about the one & only Dick Clark.  I loved American Bandstand & would make sure I was home in time to see it.  That's where I learned to do all the latest dances . . .  watching those crazy kids on Bandstand!  He was a music icon, but was always young-at-heart!!

Been catching up on the GB; lots of happenings going on.  I will not be able to attend the mini; we will be in McKinney helping my daughter take her 2 kids to different fields/soccer games.  Her hubby is out-of-town, so we're the back-up plan.  AND the good part is that we get to see the grandkids, although I'm sorry I won't make the mini. 

Darn, I hate ya'll can't make it on Sat Sandy Joe, but I know how great a visit from the kids & G-kids will be for you!  Have fun playing ball with Clayton & good luck on that 30 & over dating rule!!!
