Place: Allen, TX Comments: Thanks, Don, for the honor roll list for Memorial Day. So sad that we have lost these fine men; but what an honor they have done for us. We need to always remember them and others who gave their life for our freedom.
Place: Allen, TX Comments: My surgery went well, today. Got home around 1:30 p.m. The doctor had to pump me full of pain killers (including morphine) because my pain was SO bad. The doctor told Connie that my gall bladder was VERY bad and simply HAD to be removed. I still hurt, but it is becoming bearable. Ate a bowl of oatmeal a few minutes ago. That has set very well. Lucky that I love oatmeal. I think Connie is going to take tomorrow off, too, so she can help me. As soon as the elevator opened on the 2nd floor of the surgery wing, we saw our pastor and associate pastor waiting for us. That made me feel very calm, as I absolutely love those two men. And, their prayers were very comforting. I told them that I am praying that I will feel like attending worship service tomorrow night. I adore our church services and our preacher is wonderful. Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that I am doing OK....just in pain. Thanks for yur prayers. Ronney McKee
Place: Garland USA Comments: So how did the Memorial Day celebration go at Gordy's? I gave my banana pudding recipe to one of Gordy's friends last 4th of July so I hope she brought dessert! Staying out of trouble and sticking close to home these days. Hope Ronney's surgery went well.
Place: Carthage, TX Comments: Anyone heard from Ronney McKee ???
Place: OP, KS Comments: Sorry about the double post. Not sure what I did.
Place: Overland Park,KS Comments: I have been thinking today of a cousin whom I never had the opportunity to know. Edward (Buddy) was a pilot. He died in a training accident in 1944, shortly before he was to go overseas. Have also been thinking of our fallen classmates, while being grateful that most of our classmates who served returned home safely. Belated birthday wishes, Barb. Sending good vibes your way, Ronney. Love to all, Carol

Place: Benbrook Comments: Computer has been out for a while.Hangin in.Ronney..will be thinking about you and your surgery.Seems I have missed birthdays, anniversaries, surgerys, and those that have departed.Sorry I wasn't here.My Sarah has an internship going on at Nordstroms and John is working for Don Davis.I am working tonight and tomorrow night.Sarah has a friend that we have known since their elementary school days together. She came from a home that her mom was a barmaid trying to make it after an abusive husband left them for many years. For some reason the wife decided to take him back and he beat one of her younger brothers. She had been a nanny to a minister and his family but they are moving out of state. She cannot go home to that dangerous situation. She is going to live with us and Sarah is trying to help her job hunt.We can't say no to her. She has been like family to us and has been here a lot since elementary days.Just want your prayers that we can help her and make this work.BE SAFE!!!

Place: Sachse Comments: I hated to see the news about Diana Crockett passing. I don't ever remember a time that I didn't see her smiling. She always seemed joyful. I know her family will miss her. I sure hope Dane's wife recuperates well from her surgery. I hope she gets the relief she needs. I will be thinking of Ronney as he has surgery next week. Ronney, you will feel much better soon I am certain. And Karen, you would definitely be a mess without Bobby. Prayers for you to continue to improve. As much as we would love to be at Gordy's shindig, we have too much going on this weekend including going to a Rangers game and having a cookout (with home-made ice cream) at my daughter's house. So go ahead and talk about me Jack. By the way, Jack is right about Gordy's BBQ. It'll make you slap your knee and shout "Eeee-hahhh"!
