Place: Richardson Comments: We had a nice trip to Hstn & got bk last night. The surprise BD party for Don's Mom was a big sucess!! It has rained way too much in Hstn last few days... lots of flooding. But it stopped raining a few hrs B4 the party & didn't rain the rest of the night. That was great as party was outside around the pool area!! Don & I were like crazy people Fri & Sat night dwn there, as they don't show the Rangers in Hstn, not when the Astros are playing. We had to wait until we cd get the paper the next mrng & see if we won!!! Geeeez! They're off tonight & Thur . . . gonna be a slow wk. But, we brt one of the triplets back with us Sun & will swap-out this wkend for another one & the following wkend for the 3rd one. Lots of fun to have them one-at-a-time. Ok, it's pool time . . . catch ya'll later.
Place: 66erville Comments: Gee, SNL, I'm starting to feel the same way when the Rangers are playing!
Place: Richardson Comments: I think you broke the code Rick. Without electricity, ain't nuttin' to do after the sun does down. Except . . . . hmmmmmm,
Place: bigD Comments: Susan, I'm glad you had a good time on your trip. I went to East Texas last week, 4th thru 7th. shopped antique stores in Marshall and Jefferson and we stayed in a small old farm house near Linden. On Friday a storm knocked out the power so we sat in rockers on the old wood porch and watched the sky. Now I know why early settrers went to bed early, they didn't have electricity, there's nothing to do. Oh, maybe that's why they had lots of kids.
Place: 66erville Comments: What a surprise that the two gals who seemed to be joined at the hip for years (Toni & Shortcake) both seem to attract snakes! Wonder what the story is behind this is. Wonder if we will EVER hear it?? Some side effect of a strange incantation or elixir?
Place: Wylie Comments: I was definitely talking about that snake snl
Place: Richardson Comments: Rick - I think KRL was referring to the snake she found in her Recreational Vehicle.
Place: FW Comments: We just got back from a week in Sioux Falls. It was great seeing family and friends. We went there to escape the heat. The joke was on us. One day it was 104 degrees! And on the last day there, it was a beautiful 57 degrees! This has to be one of Murphy's Laws! Very glad to be back home though. It seems like no matter how enjoyable vacation is, there's no place like home!
Place: Garland Comments: Well RW .it does standfor snake. Hey guys bobby and I are going to BJ's tonight for my bd. anyone that wants some good food should join us. We are going to meet Barbara. There at 5:30.
Place: bigD Comments: Short cake, what does RV stand for "Rattlesnake Venom"
Place: Richardson Comments: We went to see Jersey Boys last night & both of us loved it!!! The Winspear was beautiful & the voice on the guy playing Frankie Valli was outstanding.
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: RW....I asked animal control to send you the one that I found in my RV also. Lol
Place: Richardson Comments: Ronney from all the pics I've seen on-line & what I've read . . . the Winspear Oera house is fantastic. I'm excited to go there for the first time! Rickypoo, that box arrive a few minutes ago & the postman said it had insufficient postage on it. I wrote "return to sender" & told him to send it back!
Place: KC, MO Comments: I'm not going to the game, Jack, but I will watch it on FOX. George Brett will make a presentation at 6:30; I've heard that it should be really good. It's been fun watching the city get all dressed up for the big party. Many of KC's famous fountains are sporting royal blue water. Earlier today one of the TV blimps flew right by my 14th-floor office window, which faces Crown Center and the Country Club Plaza. It was on its way to the Plaza, where they were having a parade for all of the stars that are in town. Back to the same ol', same ol' tomorrow.
Place: big Comments: Toni I didn't put enough postage on that gift box so it will probably only make as far as Sandy's house. Open it carefully Sandy ! |
