Place: bigD Comments: Roe you must be pretty close to the Red River. Do you feel Like a Sooner? We got some need rain in the Duncanville area didn't we Linda Rich. Linda did you go see that house around the corner from me on Ceder Ridge. It sold for 1.2 Mil. the neighbors said it is worth 4Mil. times are bad if they let it go so cheep. It's on a 14 acre lot. I went inside but wasn't impressed by the interior. It was big and rich looking but it's not my style.
Place: Cloudy & Soggy in Richardson Comments: According to rain gage in our backyard, we got 1/2" of rain last night to go along with the one & a half inches we got Tue night. The trees & flowers look better already!! Hope all that needed it, got some rain as well. 5-day forecast does NOT include a single 100 degree temp!
Place: Richardson Comments: Well, with all the unbridled enthusiasm so many have shown for the announcement of the upcoming Mini . . . should be a great turnout!  Got lots of rain all night Tue. Strong possibility of rain tonight thru Sun. We'll see. Also, supposed to do aerial spraying for mosquitoes sometime over the next few days, depending on the weather. Can't spray if there's rain. I don't know whether to be more afraid of the mosquitoes (which may carry West Nile) or the spray that will be falling from the sky!!!   Everyone remember to bring in all pets & their food and water bowls too. Not going to let my kitty back out the next day until I'm sure the spray on the grass & shrubs has dried. I'm very worried about all the bees the spray is going to kill. What will we do next spring without the bees???

Place: 66erville Comments: Well, I was real happy with the Ryan pick unitl I vetted him. Not only is he a Green Bay Fan, his wife is from Madill OK. SHE named their dogs...boomer and sooner! Cheesehead and OU. I MIGHT be able to get by one or the other, but BOTH? Gonna have to give this some SERIOUS thought!
Place: Sunny in Richardson Comments: OK, everyone take note of this announcement! Our Fall Get-Together is being planned. It will be on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012. As always, it will be from 2:00 to 6:00pm. We are making it the day after the BMF Golf Tournament. We feel there will be some people in from out-of-town for Golf and it would be more likely for them to stay over night rather than come back a weekend or two later. Mark your calendars now & start making plans: Friday - Oct 5 . . . BMF Golf Tournament Saturday - Oct 6 . . . SOC '66 Mini Get-Together

However, if anyone wants to know anything about Romney's VP pick Republican Representative Paul Ryan...please ask me...he's been my congressman for the past 14 years. Thanks And to all BD's & anniversy's I've missed...hope all are well.
Place: Richardson Comments: Billy Horton, Glad you found Donna's HS website. We found out about her passing from her sister, Sonja. She was a sweet girl at SOC & as Jack said . . . she had a quick wit! The only drops of water we got late yesterday were from our sprinkler heads!! Nary a drop from the sky! I'm hoping for an early Fall, or at least a bunch of clouds to block the sun! You're welcome Yuvonne. We all miss you & Dale. Hope whatever kept you away willl now allow you to come to our next get-together in early Oct. We miss both of you . . . well, at least one of you!
