Place: Richardson Comments: For all of us who have lived in Dls , or the area, our whole lives, we know what a treat this unexpected cool wave is !! All this rain & the cool temps . . . Fall is near, I can feel it. Glad to hear ya'll are planning for the the 6th. Shortcake, for such a compact frame, you sure work up one heckuva headache! Hope it is eased tda & gone by tmo!  Rickypoo - bring your cousin along, even if for only an hour or so. Cousins always have the best stories!!  Jack - I kinda figured you'd be there. I just like hearing you commit!

Place: Cypress springs Comments: And how many have I missed? Even came to reunion on a walker and stayed seated....what dedication! I was beginning to wonder yesterday though! Ended up at the emergency room with a migraine. Could not get rid of it all day. They put in an iv and heavy drugs for abt 3 hours. Bobby stopped and got me a milkshake on the way home but I still could not keep anything down. Better today.
Place: 66erville Comments: Man, yesterday, August 21, 2012, temperatures not higher than 84. That has got to mean GLOBAL COOLING!! Get your longjohns out of storage, winter can't be far off. Best get your firewood orders placed and delivery scheduled. Don, have you have a plan if the BMF tourney gets snowed out?? Maybe an indoor course. One of those with black lights and glow balls?? SNL, do you really need for me to commit to being there?? Sure Rick, keep your cousin away from your high school chums. Who's stories are you afraid of, ours or his/hers???
Place: bigD Comments: My cousin from California will be in town on Oct 6 so I don't know if I will get to go the reunion. Well see.
Place: Richardson Comments: That's encouraging. At least I know I won't be there alone on Oct 6th!  Hope the rest of you can make it too. Life is going by too quickly to forgo seeing friends and having a few hours of fun visiting with them.

Not everyone looks at the GB every day, so I'm hoping eventually everyone will see this. FYI Next Mini Get-Together is set for Saturday, Oct. 6th, between 2:00-6:00pm at the Hyatt Hotel in Richardson. Located NE corner of Campbell & Hwy 75. Please, make plans to be there!

Place: bigD Comments: SNL, Not the same house but on the same street only about 5 houses apart, about 1/8th mile. The house you're talking about has changed hands. The new owners have disinfected it and are fixing it up. Cherry pit, that's what they called it. |
