Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: SNL...nice win over the Giants...thanks.
Place: Richardson Comments: I was able to find out Judy Holt's married name & date of her passing. Judy Holt Neal, 64, lived in Rowlett and passed away May 20, 2012. Her services were at Restland on May 25, 2012. It was a very brief obit and that's all there was. Tmo I will remove her name from the Missing List & add it to the Deceased List. This is the 6th person to pass away from our class this year!
Place: Richardson Comments: Well darn! I don't turn my PC on for 2 days & I miss a very important B-day and the sad news of another classmates death!! If I don't go into my ofc or turn on PC . . . I don't see all my notes. Karen Pearson Hughes - Happy B-day for Monday, hope it was a great one. Hope you & Jimmie celebrated big on Labor Day, cause according to Smiley, you had two things to celebrate! So glad ya'll can make the Oct 6th Mini & wd love to meet & t/w with your friend. Place: Burkett, Texas Comments: PROPOSITIONS, now that's another story.
Place: Doghouse Comments: Thanks, Smiley. I was never very good at prepositions.
Place: Arizona - presently Comments: Sandy, just wanted you to know Jimmie & I are going to try and make the mini. I will be arriving with a friend that day from a girls trip to Canada. We should get in to DFW in time to attend and she has graciously agreed to be our guest at the get together. See you then!
Place: Grosvenor Comments: Jack, I hate to go all school teachery on you but never use a preposition to end a sentence with.
Place: 66erville Comments: Shortcake, from what am I suppose to put my white shoes away from??
Place: In Memoriam Comments: Judy Holt passed away in June 2012
Place: Cypress springs Comments: Happy labor day everyone! Do not forget to put your white shoes away!
Place: Allen, TX Comments: Toni, don't ever think I don't have mercy. Last week, I was in Lutz, Florida, a suburb of Tampa. I was visiting my only living relative, my Uncle Jess. While there, we went to a museum. While in the museum store, I found a snake that you can wind up and it slithers. I almost bought it for you. But, decided to be nice and not get it. So, you are safe for the moment. LOL!!!!
Place: Grosvenor Comments: I join the nation today in recognizing all of you women that have given birth to our wonderful children. I know the birthing process is hard and painful and am happy to see we have a holiday that recognizes your effort. DWS
Place: Richardson Comments: I'm a bit slow in commenting on your post Annette, but you hit the nail squarely on the head! Since our 45th Reunion (less than a year ago) there have been 6 classmates pass away!! 5 were this year! All the more reason for you and the rest of the grp to make it a priority to be here for our Fall Get-Together. You never know when that special person you wanted to see . . . won't be here next time.Just heard back from Clint Austin, Jeannette Schafer's hsbd, and they plan to attend. I sent Em's and made calls to many who don't look at our site or don't have computers, and I'm getting a good response for YES to Oct. 6th.
Place: 66erville Comments: Well, way to go Mike Dunn. Here we are enjoying cooler temperatures (for Texas) and as soon as Mike announces he is coming to town, we jump back to triple digits!! I wonder if Houston got cooler every time Mike left town when he lived down there?
Place: Grosvenor, Texas Comments: Our daughter-in-law, Wendy, has a friend that has five children. She said that she always thought her favorite color was blue but found out last week it was "school bus yellow". Happy birthday to all celebrating. DWS |
