Jack, We ae planning on attending but that is during the best week for deer hunting and we often have friends invite themselves for a visit at that time. I think you still owe me a drink from one of those contests we had 3 years ago. Hope the winnings have not expired. You only said "you must be present to collect"

Sam, today is the worse part of your procedure, the "prep" work. Nothing good to eat and drinking that "stuff". Thinking about you, guy. Rick, let me know when you decide about the mini. If you are coming, I'll try not to forget to bring you the radio (again). Dale, any chance you and Y will come in and play golf and/or come to the mini??

I was thinking maybe I'd get one small chapter, I thought YOU & Smiley wd take up most of the book.Cathy Wood, Doc Mitchell, Roe, Earlene, KMD, Bovie, McGee & others out there . . . note your calendar to show up on Oct 6 @ 2:00pm at the Hyatt Hotel in Richardson!! Looking forward to seeing all of ya'll.
Place: 66erville Comments: I carried a sign at a protest in Austin that said "Reverse Psychology", but I never did understand it. I only joined it because this really cute girl told me the next meeting was at hippie hollow and I could see here there. SNL, don't be so hard on yourself. While you'd probably be a long case study, you'd probably be only 1/2 to 1/3 of a whole book!

Place: Richardson Comments: I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict . . . No more 100* temps this year! Maybe some mid 90's, but with the rains, everything is better!  Toni - so happy you & Bruce can make the next mini. I'll make sure it doesn't ice or snow that day!!  Sammy - Whatever the cause, glad the doc can fix it during the procedure. Prayers for full repair & on the road again!  REMEMBER FOLKS - Oct 6th!! Saturday at the Hyatt Hotel on Campbell @ Hwy 75 is our next mini!! Be there . . . or be square.

We could be way ahead of the curve on this thing. Sam, I hope those glow sticks didn't have anything to do with this. You take care and know that we will all be saying a little prayer.

SNL, I love your prediction but I'm afraid we are still in for more warm (but I didn't say hot!) weather before that fall breeze blows in! Sam, best of luck on your current health issue and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Place: Coppell Comments: I am scheduled to have a colonoscopy next Wednesday morning. The gastroenterologist does not know if the bleeding issues are related to my prostate cancer, but he will be able to correct this during the procedure no matter what the cause is. Hopefully it will be nothing major. I will keep all updated and covet your prayers. Sam |
