Place: OKC Comments: No ‘breaks” here. Hot and dry…hot and dry…hot and dry. Here’s to our pioneer ancestors who had no cooling but the kind God provides every so often. 🌞🔥🌵🔥🌞. Try to stay cool.
Place: Riochardson Comments: About an hour ago it clouded up and then heavy thunder. All of a sudden an 8 to 9 minutes cloudburst came down. Temps dropped to a cool 83! It was heavenly! Still cloudy so maybe no 100 plus today. Nice unexpected break.
Place: Kerrville Comments: Yep - it was 107 here in Kerrville yesterday. No rain. Our Koi ponds have been turned off to conserve water. Mine is really deep so I have not had problems. My koi seem happy At this point. Hopefully will not loose any. The water is really warm. Stay in and drink lots of water.
Place: Richardson Comments: You got that right Dale! Another week forecast, at least for next 7 days, to be at least 101 to 104 everyday here in our area and with plenty of sunshine all day. Our last bit of rain was June 3rd. Sure makes me appreciate central A/C because back home in Oak Cliff we had one window unit and fans in each room. Do your errands early, before noon, because walking across hot parking lots and in/out of extremely hot cars will suck the life right out of you.

I have always kept up with everyone on FB. I was hacked big time a couple of months ago. Someone has control of my account. Trying to get help has been a nightmare. Deleted my account two times... but to no avail. I was told that if all my friends on FB would send a report that someone has control of my FB, they would delete account and I can start over. Seems to be the season of our lives... it STINKS! On a happier note.... I ran into Janice Scallion in the Costco parking lot a month ago... then again last week. So excited to see her and we live very close to one another. We are planning a get together soon. She reminded me about the reunion but, Bill was having surgery. He had to have a peacemaker put in. Nothing wrong with his heart, it was his pulse that was too low. He has always had what is known as a athletic heart, which is low pulse. He is a endorphin junky and swimming is his drug! Can't swim for three months pretty pissed off about that but, he is walking a couple of miles a day. The man is turning 85 in December and still is the ever ready bunny. Hope to make the fall mini! Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, Rick Mitchell was a very good man. He was kind, very smart, caring and yet so soft spoken. The loss of Rick is a real heart breaker. Prayers for Brenda & the rest of his family.
