Place: bigD Comments: St Augustine is what I planted in the front yard. Cost me 85cents a square. I started playing summer league soft ball on the Church team last Monday. I'm worn out. played catcher first game and first base 2nd game. I need practice. Roe, cutting hay sounds like work. I guess when you're a farmer the work is never done.
Place: Garland USA Comments: Hi all! Catching up on past posts! Happy belated birthday James! SNL, what fun you must be having!
Place: KC, MO Comments: Sorry that I missed your birthday, James. I hope that it was great! Love to all - Carol
Place: 66erville Comments: Sam, Cody Jack must be taking lessons from ME. If he was following in your footsteps he'd be pumping iron. Quite the nappy dresser too. Are you his fashion consultant??
Place: Coppell Comments: Happy belated birthday James. HOpe you had a great one. We should take a lesson from our grandkids and learn the art of relaxation............. Thirty minutes BEFORE they come over for us to babysit.

Going to Kid Country tmo & the State Fair Summer Adventure on Wed. Of course swimming is always on the agenda here at our pool.
Place: 66erville Comments: HAPPY BIRHDAY, James and wishes for many more. Since you was one, maybe you can tell me why the leader of the band is called the Drum Major. Always wondered about that.
Place: Richardson Comments: I believe tda is James Young's B-day. A very Happy B-day to our SOC Drum Major! May you have many many more!! Happy B-day my friend! Rick - Don laid solid St Augustine grass sod (16 x 24 ea) in most of our front yd two yrs ago. There were a few areas that it hadn't spread to yet so last wk he laid another 25 pieces. It's hard work, especially on the knees, digging out the area and laying it all down and adding dirt around it. Last yr he did our bkyard, took two full pallets. It wore him out, but it sure is looking pretty. Did you do St Augustine or Bermuda?
Place: 66erville Comments: Farmer Roe, I know you want to get your hay in, but we could REALLY use some more rain to fill the lakes for summer. So even though I know you love playing in the hay, please use your influence to bring us more rain and put off cutting the hay for awhile longer. Thanks! Rick, what kind of grass are you growing??
Place: Dekalb, Tx Comments: Sorry, we live so far out in the country high speed dial up is still foreign, or maybe I'am getting old.
Place: Richardson Comments: Could the person who made the last post & used the word "For" as your name, please put additional info to identify yourself. The GB monitor would greatly appreciate it. Thank You!
Place: Bowie County,Tx Comments: Just finished this wk pulling Onions Cabbage, & Peas waiting for the weather to dry up to began cutting Hay. I'am too old for this, oh to be young again.
Place: bigD Comments: SNL I agree about the rain, I just set out 145 squares of grass, so let it rain.
Place: Richardson Comments: SINUS!! It wouldn't go away and left side of my face, mainly my eye & surrounding area swelled & could barely see. It was a nasty sinus infection. But, after 10-days of antibiotics, I'm feeling good & infection cleared up. We got over an inch from the Wed nite/Thurs mrng showers & a nice surprise this mrng with another half inch!! Wish it wd rain once a wk all summer long, but that's not gonna happen. Don left this mrng for Driftwood & will be back tmo with April. Gonna be a fun wk w/ our G-dtr!!! |
