We went to the Discount Movie House tda to see Silver Linings Playbook.  $1.25 ea.  GREAT movie!!  We both loved it & we laughed out loud several times.  Once I got so tickled I had my hand over my mouth and was snorting!!  Had no idea it was such a well-written movie with so many funny scenarios.  I loved it... made me smile & laugh.

TNX Shortcake!  It was the first time I have posted pics since I got my new PC & all the new software!!  It was a different experience, but I made it thru.

Girl . . .  do we need to get you a Guide Dog!!!  Looks like the RV is in good shape but one of the passengers is not!!  Man, those cracked ribs are terrible.  When Don had his a number of yrs ago he said it hurt to "breathe"!!  But like you said . . .  You're knees are doing great!!!

Tda is our day to be able to run our sprinklers.  After they were thru I heard water & it was coming a shower of RAIN!  Sure hope the forecast of scattered showers for Thur, Fri & Sat come true.  We need it sooo badly.  All the cities under the N. TX Municipal Water District have been told we will go to Stage 3 water restrictions effective 6-1.  That includes Richardson, Sachse, Murphy, Wylie, Plano, Allen & Frisco among others.  That means we can only run our sprinklers once a week!!  Gonna be a long hot summer!!

The pictures from the mini were great and I did not even have to make any adjustments to my computer to see them....good job SNL    Spent a week in Kerrville testing out the new car to be sure that Bobby had put all of the hardware on it correctly before we take any long trips I the summer.  Got back and while unloading everything from RV home tripped and now have either a cracked or badly bruised rib on left side  Extremely hard to move around.  Thought it was getting better but seemed to be worse today then it has been.  BUT - my Dr. said my knees look great and he will see me in two years.  Good news huh!

I know there are a lot of Ranger fans out there, even if you don't live right here in the DFW area!  Could it have gotten any better than yesterday when we swept Boston for 3 games!!!

Go TEXAS RANGERS!!!

Here's a little tidbit you won't see on FB or in the paper.  As you know, all my cousins still live in or around the Crawford area.  We went to the Gauer family reunion yesterday & it's amazing what you pick up from the hometown folks!  Seems Josh & Katie Hamilton bought 900 acres in Crawford, TX.  Two Ranches over from my cousin Jerry.  Jerry was & still is the closest neighbor to GW Bush.  He said after they purchased it within one week that had people completely remove the old fence & put a new higher fence around the entire 900 acres!!  Jerry is a big Rangers fan & although he isn't able to get them on TV very often, he listens to the games on the radio.  But since George didn't make him any difference, except when the helicopter scared his cows, I doubt Josh & Katie will either!!  In Crawford, no one cares "who" you are.  Life goes on unfazed.

P.S.  Sally, nice to know you still check-in on us!  Always good to hear from you!

Hey Sandy, I noticed your note on the front page with the great pictures of SOC.  They are great, but I have to let you know Lonnie was a graduate of 1964, not 1965, although we would accept him from our class too!.  He does great pictures and videos.  I have known Lonnie Harmon ever since I was a princess on his old baseball team way, way back in the day!   Hope you are doing well, the class site looks great.  We lost another friend from the class of 63 on May 3rd, our dear friend Bobby Spann passed away from cancer.  Memorial for Bobby will be May 7, 2013 at the Midlothian Funeral Home at 11 a.m.   Just passing he word in case some of you remember Bobby, he will be missed.

Sandy, from the way they are already treating me, I have no doubt that this will be a permanent situation. They've been nicer to me before starting the job than any company has ever been. I really think I will enjoy this new position; and, I am ready to start.

I start a new job as Proposal Writer for Capital One, on Monday. I was shown where I will work, today. Gettin' excited. It is actually an 8-month contract position. But, the representative I met with today said that the hiring manager was "blown away" by my resume and interview, and now they are looking to make the job permanent. YESSSSSSSSSS!!

WHAT'S IN YOUR POCKET?   LOL

Geez Rick, you better close one of your eyes bec apparently the grp doesn't like you watching them!!

They must be too busy on FB to ck-in here.

I agree Rick, there were a lot of people to see at the Mini and some who had not attended B4.  I really liked the atmosphere and service at the H.I. and the dinner was great!
