Place: California Comments: Jack, unfortunately it is over a 100 here daily and has been for the last several weeks but we did get some rain today. Just enough rain to make me hurt all over, LOL!

I ALWAYS plan on a good weekend, but I haven't been told what's on the agenda yet, so we will wait and see. If you are getting any of that rain or cool weather, package some up and send it my way. Place: Allen, TX Comments: Bobby, I am glad to hear your granddaughter's tumor is benign. I know that is a relief to all of your family. And, I am happy that Sarah is OK. I am sure that must have been frightening and quite a trauma for her. By the way, Bobby, my UMHB girl is doing very well. She is a certified mental health counselor, working in Plano. She has been busy buying some furniture and getting ready to move into another apartment (in the complex where she already lives). I guess I will be with her on Friday, helping load boxes into my SUV to drive to her new 1-bedroom apartment. I also have to put together her dining table and entertainment stand. Some of her friends will come over on Saturday to move the furniture. She is very excited about this new apartment. It will be in a more secure part of the complex and will get her away from a totally dreadful middle-aged woman who lives buy her and causes problems in the parking lot for everyone. I am convinced that woman is insane. Nothing she does makes sense and she has left racist notes for people in the parking lot. CRAZY!!
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: Hope that everyone had a really great Labor Day and did not work too hard.....I know that I made an honest effort not too.  And I can pretty much say that I succeeded!We even got rain this morning - yay - that was great because some of the boats here are sitting in the dirt - not ours because it is on a lift and our jet ski is on a trailer but other people have left theirs sitting and did not pull them.  Oh well...not my problem. Later.....
Place: Back home Comments: Jack, We have been at Powder Mountain in Utah for nearly 3 weeks. Sorry my e-mail box runneth over. Just got back to the ranch last night. Box is now empty, Please send the good stuff ASAP. Thanks, DWS
Place: Cypress Reynolds Comments: Happy Birthday Janie, Charles, Sammy and Rusty! Gosh we are all really hitting that age all at one time aren't we!  I will just be glad when November 13 gets here so Bobby will quit telling everyone our age....he just loves the four months that I am older then him.....makes it sound like I am four years older!!!!!   Think I have decided that next year we need to spend the entire month of August in Colorado....it sure was a lot cooler there then it is here. But Bobbys Mom is not doing well so we really had to come back....we were really kind of nervous about being gone as long as we were. Oh well, everyone have a great holiday tomorrow....especially any of you people that are still having to go to work...we will be thinking about you on Tuesday!!!

Place: Cypress springs Comments: Hey guys do not just because the grandkids hits 12 or 13 you will not see them much Chase still comes as often as he can and brings his friends with him. He still goes on trips with us and says he is going to stay longer next summer. He calls his grandfather at least every other night. And we talk to Shelby at least once or twice a week....or FaceTime her on the iPad.
Place: Richardson Comments: Have some new 3rd graders on P&J tda! Boy, they sure grow up fast! Seems only yesterday they were looking forward to 1st grade!

Place: Benbrook Comments: Our baby Grand Daughter's tumor was benign, Praise God ! Sarah was in a near fatal accident as a truck was losing its belongings, and they went all over the highway. She went across 3 lane of traffic, swirled around and almost hit the inner guardrail. No one stopped to help. Finally, a woman stopped and asked if she was ok. She called me crying her eyes out. Didn't complete her trip to work. I talked her in to coming here and she did, still crying.God has been with us!! |
