Place: Richardson Comments: I've updated the website & GB for Fall. Also added a Halloween photo of the kids from last night! Don left early this mrng to go pick up the Triplets to spend the wknd with us. We're gng to celebrate their 9th B-day, which was two wks ago. Their Mom is getting them out of sch at Noon so Don can leave by 1:00. I've already baked choc cupcakes, which are cooling, then I'll decorate them to look like Monkey Cupcakes. Saw the photo on FB a while ago & I think they'll love it. Needless to say, I probably won't have time to get back on GB until they leave late Sunday. Y'all have a great wkend . . . I know I will. Can't wait to see them!!
Place: Reunion Hotel Comments: At the mini. The rest of you guys are late. Told you to stay off LBJ, but nooooo, you stubbornites just had to do it. O.K. Though it's more beer for me.
Place: 66erville Comments: It is hard for me to believe that any SOCite is not smart enough to stay off LBJ during the destruction of our road system. I'm sure it is packed with Kimball Knights and Sunset Bisons, moving at the speed of snails, while texting on their phones and yelling at the top of their lungs about the traffic. Sam, let me know if you need me to plot you a course to the hotel. JD, just jump out of the plane as it passes over Lake Lavon. I'm sure Bovie will come get you in his boat! Anybody looking for a good used car? I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus, one owner, 84.5 K miles, new brakes, good tires and a new inspection sticker. If interested contact me.

Place: Richardson Comments: Was waiting for the big rain to pass before putting out the decorations, that was a waste of time! in last 24 hrs we got barely 1/4 in!! So much for the weatherman's accuracy! But E & W of us really got a lot. Phantom - Cool poem. Did the Candy Corn image inspire you?  Sam - Remind me never to ask YOU for directions!!  
Place: Coppell Comments: So, as I understand the start time for the mini, 2:00; however, we set our clocks back an hour. Makes the start time 1:00 unless you live in California, then 11:00. If you are traveling from Green Bay, J.D. You need to leave at 4:00 A.M. All others traveling LBJ need to leave at 2:00 A. M. That about right?
Place: Graveside Manor Comments: Halloween is almost here Goblins and Ghosts make us fear. Pumpkins, black cats and witches, too. Bobbing for apples and witches brew. So jump for joy and sound the horn, Relax and have some Candy- corn.

As a reminder - If you plan to stay after the Mini & have the on-site Mexican Buffet at 6:00pm with us (23 have sent RSVP so far), please let me know no later than next Wednesday, Nov 6th. While I would normally give you the date of the day after and a morning time slot, I worry that some long lost 66er (or any interested SOCite) might check in here and see my post and then miss the REAL mini and show up at the date and time I posted just for you. Besides, I am looking forward to seeing your smiling face and hear your newest story at the mini. I'm sure SNL won't mind if I remind you that the mini is: November 9, 2013 starting at 2:00 PM with a separate (cash) RSVP'D dinner follow at 6:00 PM. You might bring a little "extra" cash in case I'm a little short. Just add it to my tab for the lunch money I borrowed from you at Lisbon.

Place: Coppell Comments: SNL, Actually that does not surprise me at all. The Cowboys made a HUGE mistake by underestimating Rocket Arm Stafford. I saw Matt play 4 years at HP. He was incredible then and now as well. Yes, he throws interceptions; however, he will burn a defensive secondary big time. |
