Place: Richardson Comments: I wasn't sure if this day wd ever come . . . but all of the more than 50 pics from our Mini on Nov 9th have posted!! I was able to also get them labeled. Finally!! Some of you have said you can't see the pics. Here are 3 things you can do to remedy the problem. 1) Make sure your PC/screen is in "Compatibility View" mode. 2) Turn off your "Pop Up Blocker". And many times this works wonders, 3) Clear your Cache. Because we all have different versions of Windows, Internet Explorer and new or old PCs, each work differently with different websites. I did all 3 of these and mine worked so much better. The trouble I was having loading them was with Network Solutions, but the problem some of you are having seeing the pics will most likely be resolved by doing items 1) & 2) above & maybe even 3) too. Check out all the pics, as they are finally done!
Place: Richardson Comments: Thinking of David Mitchell tda as he lays his brother Robert to rest at the DFW National Cemetery. What a cold and windy day to be standing at the graveside. God Bless you David and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Place: Richardson Comments: I saw a post on '64s GB from David Mitchell on 11-30 saying his older brother Robert had passed away. I sent David Em & didn't want to say anything until I heard bk frm David. He cld me tda, here's the info. His brother, Robert frm Cl '64, had a heart attack on Tues, 11-26. He & David saw ea other on Sun B4 Thanksgiving & Robert was coming to David's hse for Thanksgiving. David cld him all day Wed and no answer. He finally cld Apt Mgr & she went dwn to ck. Next thing David got was a call from police saying they had fnd Robert deceased. They found a receipt on counter dated Tue, so they believe he passed away some time Tue & was found late Wed. Here are the arrangements. Family Visitation: Wed,Dec 4th 6 to 8pm at Laura Land Funeral Home. They have asked for donations to Toys for Tots instead of flowers. There will be a box there with Robert's name on it to accept donations or toys. Services: Thursday, Dec 5 at Noon at Laura Land F.H. Burial: Thursday, Dec 5 will be at the DFW Veteran's Cemetery following the services at Laura Land. Please keep David & his family in your prayers as it has been a rough few yrs for them and this was unexpected and devastating.
Place: 66erville Comments: David Mitchell, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your brother. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Place: DS Comments: Good news about Charles. Glad you are better too. I thought that was a picture of Gene Autry!
Place: McKinney, TX Comments: SNL, glad Charles' procedure went well and glad that you are feeling better. Liked the pic of Dale in his hat.
Place: Richardson Comments: Good News!! Charles just cld . . . first surgery went great! They didn't find any clogged or blocked arteries, so no stents needed. That's good and well bode well for his upcoming heart surgery. He was starving & waiting for his dinner.
Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, at 10:30am Charles checks into St. Paul hosp & later tda has the angioplasty. He'll remain in hosp to gain strength & keep his lungs clear so he can have heart surgery the following Monday. T/W him last night & he sd to tell everyone how much he appreciates your prayers. Prayer warriors, he needs all our prayers that he will come thru both surgeries and have a full recovery!! Tmo will be 3 wks since my surgery & I thought I'd have my house & tree decorated this past wkend & a wks worth of Christmas shopping done. But . . . I have been wrong before. My goal tda is to put away the Thanksgiving decorations! Don & I were happy that we made it to my brother's hse for Thanksgiving. We both looked pathetic!! Me with no make-up, purple streaks dwn my face and a black lip and Don looking like he had 3rd degree burns & itching like crazy. But tda we both are looking much better & it's a new wk. I'm going to try & remove all the Thanksgiving images tda. It's easier to delete them than add them.
Place: Garland USA Comments: Prayers for Charles Moss as he approaches surgery today.
Place: Garland USA Comments: Had a great Thanksgiving lunch with the family and an even greater afternoon of Cowboy football! I convinced Bruce that we should get all of the Christmas decorations up and he kicked into high gear and we have everything done - both inside and out. Newest addition are the LED pine cones on the patio! I even have my Christmas cards ready to mail. SNL....enjoyed the chat. We wish both you and Don get well wishes. We will definitely keep Charles Moss in our thoughts and prayers as he undergoes surgery tomorrow morning. So glad to hear about Linda's twin grandones being released. That disease is very difficult to overcome.
Place: Coppell Comments: So, my Son was driving from McKinney yesterday and he was low on fumes. I asked him if he stopped for gas and he told me "No Dad I passed several gases" I carved the turkey yesterday and he cut the cheese for us.
Place: Gobbleland Comments: So, we spent three days, four hours and 37 minutes preparing the meal for our family, only to be consumed in 42.5 minutes. We had a great time with all. Susan, no problems here opening the pics.
Place: Fort Worth Comments: Hey, Sandy ... I tried to open the pictures from the mini and couldn't get them open. Has anyone else had a problem?
Place: Stuff-ville Comments: Oh, and John, Please lose the Cowboy Bob pic. Thanky.
Place: Lazy S Ranch Comments: John, Shot two turkeys Tuesday morning. One is in the oven , the other is in the turkey roaster. All the trimmings are ready. Ten year old grandson took a big 7-point for us to eat after the turkey is gone. Happy Turkey Day to all !! |
