Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: Memo To Ronney McKee: When you go to the SOC/Wylie game be loyal and sit in the dead-center of the SOC crowd. Be sure to wear a red sweater over your band jacket so's if the game is televised we'll be able to pick you out of the mob. Oh, and bring a throw-down wallet filled with fake pictures and play money just in case there's an unfortunate incident on the way back to the parking lot.
Place: Richardson Comments: McMakin tnx for posting abt Linda's twin G-kids being so sick. I was sitting here looking at FB & saw that they hve that dreaded RSV. They just turned 4 mos & one is in hospital & getting worse & other was being rushed this mrng to E. R. Linda headed to Austin this mrng as soon as she got the bad update. RSV is really bad & can turn into pneumonia & is life threatening to newborns, especially multiples. Gosh, seems there are so many issues with so many of our friends. Will pray for healing & comfort for all those who are suffering. What's the saying, "when it rains, it pours!". Last night after we were in bed Don sd he had a few bumps on his chest but he was already comfortable, so in the mrng wd I look at them & see what I think they are. this mrng after reading the newspaper he called me to come look. OMG!! He was covered in tiny red spots all over!!! He swears it was only a few spots last night. Based on my experience, it's either measles or an allergic reaction to something. Told him he has to find out ASAP what it is bec if it's measles we're in trouble. He went immediately to the E. R at Renner & Shiloh. Fast service & Dr. sd it was not measels but rather an allergic reaction. Best guess, based on all the info Don gave him . . . it is a reaction to the Iodine contrast they gave him on Fri while having a CTA scan. We're very thankful it isn't the measles. What a motely crew we will be tmo at my bro's hse for Thanksgiving!!! This will be one of those family holidays we'll remember for along time!!!
Place: DS Comments: Linda's grandbabies (the twins) are very sick. Ashton has been in the hospital since the weekend and they were taking Teagan to the ER Children's this morning. The entire family needs your prayers. Linda should be in Austin by now. Just talked with her a short time Mon. Hope all the info is correct. Praying for Charles, family and his doctors. Of all the blessings God has given us through the years, Friends are among the most treasured. May your heart be filled with thanksgiving, and more blessings than you can hold. Happy Thanksgiving
Place: Richardson Comments: Charles Moss cld & we talked few minutes. All the details hve bn firmed up. He will go into St. Paul hospital Monday morning, Dec 2 & have the angioplasty done that afternoon. He will remain in hospital that wk to gain strength for his heart surgery that will be done on Monday, Dec 9. This is very scary for someone who has lived with C.F. all his life. Charles has asked for our prayers. May God Bless all of our SOC grp and watch over those going into surgery and those who are ill. From our home to yours . . . Happy Thanksgiving!
Place: Lazy S ranch Comments: Jack, That's what I meant. You just said it better. DWS

Place: Carrollton Comments: Want to tell Darlene Moree HAPPY BIRTHDAY today.
Place: Garland USA Comments: Sandy, so glad you are feeling better and that you finally had good news! Karen MD, we had a great time. I posted a few pictures of our trip on Facebook if you are interested. It was quite warm in Honduras and Belize. It was a great cruise. Only hope your room steward is not "Anil". He was sub-standard!! Thoughts and prayers to those about to undergo surgery.
Place: Sachse Comments: Sandy, so sorry that you have been so miserable but how wonderful that they caught the potentially more serious problem in time. Prayers for you to heal completely and prayers for Sammy and Charles as they prepare for surgery as well. Looking forward to the holidays and also to our first cruise together next month. Dying to know how Toni and Bruce's trip goes this week since they booked the same ship and destination as us.
Place: Allen, TX Comments: I found out, this morning, that SOC is playing Wylie at our huge, $62 million high school football stadium here in Allen, this coming Friday night. Hmmmmm. Thinking I may just go to that game, seeing as it is SOC and I have never been in the new stadium. NOW, do I want to be loyal and sit on the SOC side....or.....? Hmmmmmmm. Decisions-Decisions-Decisions!!
Place: Dreary in Richardson Comments: I tried yesterday to load some of the Mini pics but I kept getting errors. Gave up & tried again tda. Good news - I did get 32 of the 60 photos to load!! Finally! If I felt better I'd call & complain about the problems, but not up to it. We had someone new come for the first time, Janice Scallorn, and also Dwight Howard came for a while. Other than that, I think you'll recognize everyone by now. I didn't put names on them, will do so at a later date, maybe when I'm able to get the other half of the pics to load. Keep in mind on the last photo . . . Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!! ![]() Tda is only 2 wks since our Mini . . . seems like it has been a month. I need some sunshine!!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Charles will go into St. Paul hospital on Dec 1. He will be there for a wk B4 any kind of surgery is done as they want to try to get his system built up as much as possible B4 heart surgery. One of the many side affects of C. F. is poor lung function, so it's important his lungs be the best they can B4 surgery. He will definitely need all our prayers.
Place: 66erville Comments: Any word from/on Charles and when he is going ion the hospital??
Place: Cold, Wet & tired Comments: Sam-I don't blame you a bit. You never know how things will go & I know you want to enjoy the upcoming holidays with your family & G-kids! It's too bad the Drs, technicians & schedulers aren't more forthcoming and actually explain what it is they are going to do to us. I'll pray this procedure you have done next yr will help the problem & you won't have to undergo any more. Love to you & Sarah! On 11-19 1-wk follow-up visit to Dr. He removed the 2 stints from up in my nose & it immediately took away the intense pain & pressure I had been having since surgery. My upper lip is still blk & I have the purple/black streak running down my mouth & under my jaw. Eyebrow area & lower face still swollen, but there is improvement. I'm determined each day will be a little better and in another 2 wks I will be close to normal. Dr. said it may take a total of 5-6 wks from surgery before all the swelling goes down. But I'm just glad I had this done since he found those darn polyps. Very happy & thankful that by Christmas I will feel (and hopefully look) better than ever! I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving . . . my sis-n-law is cooking!!! Yea!!!!! Sally my friend - Thank you for the sweet card! |
