Place: Cypress springs Comments: Gee Sandy .....when you, Barbara and I were discussing your surgery I explained to you that I have had this surgery and you would feel much better! You just have to do everything the hard way! Sorry you have had so many problems.....tell that Dr. to take care of you better.
Place: Dallas Comments: Sandy, I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time. When you told me you were going to have this "minor" surgery you were so positive it would not be a bad thing. Just goes to show that there is never just a "minor" surgery!!!!! Praying that you continue to get better!!!!!!
Place: Sick Bay Comments: Let me start by saying I apologize if anyone has sent me em in the last week, you obviously haven’t gotten any response. The last time I had my pc on was last Monday, longest I’ve ever gone without being on a pc! I had what was supposed to be relatively minor sinus surgery on Tue morning Nov 12th. However, there was some complications and I’ve been out of commission for a week and it doesn’t look good for me doing anything for at least another week. I had excessive bleeding which caused other problems. I’m praying that today marks a turning point as the swelling has begun to go down & hopefully some of the bad bruising will start to improve. A far cry from the “return-to-work” scenario the Dr. gave me of 2-3 days!! Poor Don, he’s been taking care of me 24/7 and trying to keep up with everything else. Up until today, he could hardly understand me because my top lip was so swollen I couldn’t talk, not to mention the rest of my face. Been a tough week. But I feel like starting today I will get better each day going forward. Unfortunately it will be at least another week before I can expect to start returning to any semblance of normal.
Place: Kerrville Comments: As you can see, we are in Kerrville checking on the RV and still looking at casitas Sooner or later will probably get one and leave the RV at it. Well gosh SNL glad I kept your secret!!!! Hope your surgery sent well and you are feeling better now! Toni - if you had let me know you had changed your plans about dinner we would have come to the reunion earlier  . We needed to get things done at home and it is a two hour drive for us. Oh well. Guess you guys are getting ready to leave on your cruise - hope you enjoy it. I would tell you to bring the boys a drum back like I did for our grandchildren but since keep them They aren't like the ones we use but long ones with decorations on them. Really cool. If you go to the pyramids be sure to climb to the top!!!! lol. I bought some placemats there that were really pretty.....course I had a smaller table then. Have fun. 
Place: Coppell Comments: Sandy, thanks for posting the pictures of my grandkids. Sorry to have missed the reunion. Casey's ninth birthday party did not start until 2:30. We had to be in Mesquite at the DD Ranch at 5:00 for Sarah's 45th high school reunion. Sounds like all had a great time. I covet all prayers as I have had 4 urethra stricture procedures since October 10th due to the external beam radiation treatments I had for prostate cancer in 2011. I will be having surgery next January to have the scar tissue removed, praying that this will do the trick.

Place: Garland USA Comments: It was good to see the handful of people at the mini on Saturday. Sorry we could only stay until 3:30 p.m. I saw the pictures posted by Karen Reynolds Louton on Facebook. I didn't get the memo that everyone was waiting until later to show up! LOL! Anyway, it appears that a great time was had by all. It was great to see you all even if most were in pictures! SNL, as always, thanks for all your efforts.

Place: Breezy in Richardson Comments: I had loaded some cute Grandone pics from Halloween from Sammy the day of the Mini. However, I noticed last night I had forgot to Publish them!! Geeezzz. Ck out the cute Grandones. Catch y'all in a day or so.
Place: chilly backyards Comments: Ms. SNL, thanks for organizing the party Saturday night. The beer was cold, and Professor Cold Cash Dagley and the Speedy Bandit entertained all of us. Happy Holidays to everyone. Sandy McGee
Place: Richardson Comments: Dang It Dang It!! I've tried 5 diff times to load all 60 pics from the Mini into the web site so I can label & fix them but it won't do it!! It starts out fine then tells me there is an error. I'm going to have to work on this but I've run out of time. I will tell you that all of you are lookin' Maaarvelous!! Good pics! I will work on this and get them posted and labeled before end of wk, just disappointed I can't get it to work tda. Later gang . . . having minor surgery tmo mrng on my blocked sinuses. Hopefully I will be able to breath more easily & the swelling in my face will go down once this is done. Will do pics as soon as I'm up & around again. Bundle up . . . Winter arrives tmo here in DFW!!!!
Place: Cypress springs Comments: Ok now...just remember that I do still have friends in the pd should any of those phone pics happen to show up anywhere. Remember when our parents told us our faces were going to freeze like that....maybe that is what they meant.....at least my tongue was not sticking out like someone's whose name will go unmentioned. SNL...all pics sent tonight...hope you got them ok Had to take our 13 yr old grandson. To the hospital today. Has some kind of virus and is now quarantined from the other kids til they figure it out and out of school.
Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, I forgot to thank the Pool Guy for bringing his & SueSue's name tags and also Shortcake. McMakin . . . what can I say, you had your chance & blew it. But it really was fun last night. And to think . . . none of us at the table had anything to drink except iced tea!! 
Place: DS Comments: Enjoyed last night so much! Gary, I think SNL is suggesting that we (you and me)are crazy. I think she's crazy! She told me to bring my name tag, and I did, but she never ask for it, so I still have it. Now that's crazy. I guess she really didn't want it after all. She just wanted me to look for it. So good to visit with Charles  You look great! Please keep us updated. Thanks Sandy. Great place, food and friends I don't care what Linda says, ya'll really don't look that old Have a great week! Place: Richardson Comments: Yesterday's Mini was great!! We had 28 that stayed & had dinner after the Mini and I counted 10 add'l that came to the Mini but couldn't stay for dinner. I want to Thank each one of you that made the effort & took time out of your day to be there. Each of you certainly made my day a little brighter & made me glad to have such good friends! After dinner & everyone was table-hopping & visiting, I sat down with the Crazy Ones, Charles, Gary, Sheryl, Sandra & Rosemary!! Oh my they were wound up & I laughed so much my side started hurting!! Not sure what transpired at that table, but it was sure a lot of fun as we all truly laughed until we had tears in our eyes! Of course, with Gary D & Sandrra Mc at the same table, you never know what will happen!! I do hope the ransom on those IPho photos Charles & Sheryl took won't be too high. You promised to send them to me & not put them on FB. REMEMBER!! |
