Place: New Years football games Comments: Happy New Year to everyone. Slammin" Sam Smith, we thought James Brown had joined the Party. I wish I had moves like that. Cathy, the knee replacement is painful. But it is like 18 holes of golf in a cart with Happy Jack Hawkins. When it's over, it wasn't that bad. Looking forward to the Cable Guy Fugate coming home. He has a lot of money we can take on the golf course. Moss, thinking about you, get well my friend. See you guys in the Spring. Browning is buying the first round. Sandy
Place: Garland USA Comments: Happy New Year to each of you! May 2014 find us all healthier, wealthier and/or more wise!!
Place: Coppell Comments: Happy new year to all my SOC friends. The nicest memory of friends is dancing with Sarah at our 45th reunion and seeing the guys with their glow sticks surrounding us. For that moment in time, the support from them while I was going through my cancer treatments was incredible. Have a safe and prosperous 2014!

It has been a long road for him with the heart problems etc. Sam - don't talk on the GB...Charles might get on here and catch something!!!! We have been just relaxing here. Not doing a lot. We have the New Years party tonight and some parties tomorrow. Will come home on the 2nd and recover. Happy New Year to everyone and stay safe especially if you are driving someone - which we are not.
Place: Watching 2013 slip away Comments: Nothing like Grandkids laughing, Cathy. Glad to hear your trip went well. Check with Pool Guy McGee and Shortcake regarding the knee stuff. Between the two, I think they have been the whole route. Sam, you gotta stay out of those gyms! Hospitals and gyms are full of SICK people. If you do go, try not to touch anything. YUK!! Place: Paradise Comments: Hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas, and will have a very Happy New Year! Sorry to hear about all those who are sick. Hope all get well soon. Rick your grandkids are so adorable. It's so good they enjoy being with each other. Fred and I went to TN to see Brandy and family over Thanksgiving and Wendy and her family went with us. And the cousins (6 in all) had a blast playing together, their laughter was music to my ears. Dec. 3rd I had total knee replacement on my right knee. Still doing P.T.. It's not where me or the Dr. wants it to be yet, but I'm hanging in. Hope everyone gets better soon ALL are in my Prayers.
Place: DS Comments: Had a nice visit with Charles today. He looked good, considering what he's been through. He now has the flu besides pneumonia. He would love to have visitors, just make sure you are well and haven't been around anyone who is sick. They require full gown, gloves and mask. As Sandy said, he always has such a great attitude. First thing he did was ask about Courtney. Courtney and I ran into Charles, his girlfriend and his mom at Costco in 2012,that's how he knows who she is. Even if you don't pray, say a prayer for Charles. He needs everyone praying for him. This has been really hard on Charles mother. She is 91.
Place: Richardson Comments: Gary - Thank you for keeping us updated with new info about our sweet friend Charles. Thankfully the infection is under control and hopefully his heart will stay in the correct rhythm. Charles is the most considerate person I've ever met! He never complains about his poor health and always asks about how others are doing. I will continue to pray for improvement and full recovery. We don't realize how lucky we are to have good health until we lose it or see a dear friend become so ill. God Bless the class of '66. |
