Well Sam....you might ask Bobby....he was getting his hair cut last week and they told him he had paint on his hair. He just finished with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs so I guess he decided to paint his hair also! .

Anybody know how to get paint off hair? Amazing how quickly Behr paint dries.Washed my hair three times now. Would ask Sarah but she's not talking to me.

BTW - if you haven't gone to the '63 site yet to read the amazing story John dug up on our Oak Cliff connection, you really should!

See John Southworth's post below & I put a link to '63 for you.

Sam, I am surprised at you and Dale. Everybody knows that it is a Ham for Easter and a Christmas Goose.  I guess it is a dieing tradition. I have offered many a member of our group here a good Christmas goose and have been turned down. What is our world coming to? Traditions just don't seem to be honored like they used to be. OH!

Sammy,
In answer to your serious question I feel the best strategy would be to invoke that ol playground game but in reverse. I'd just go  "Goose, Goose Duck Duck". And I would duck quickly.

John, that was an amazing story.  I never knew that about Mrs. Criswell.  Coming from you, I was waiting for the punch line.  But I looked at the pics you linked and saw the newspaper clipping.  You never know what someone else may be going through.

Over on the SOC '63 Guestbook, I just posted a true tale (rare for me) of murder, mystery, and intrigue.

Some of you may know at least one of the key characters in the tale. Follow SNL's links to my class.

Here is a good question to ponder and I'll need your honest opinion. Seriously Smiley, honest. Is paint on the head worth the goose? Sarah and I are painting the inside of the house and she was on the next to top rung of the ladder. I walked by and wondered? Hmmmmm.

SNL,
Keep on talking about them and maybe we can make a winner out of them yet.

That reminds me. Where is a women's' "YET"?  Yes, the YET.  I read in the Abilene Reporter News this morning that a woman was shot with a .38 caliber special and the bullet is in her yet.

Congrats to Fugate on his retirement. I remember him as a great guy and a positive contributor to our social society at SOC. I especially enjoyed him making music in The Mystics, they were great!! And who can forget when he dropped his diploma at the Music Hall and then kicked it across the stage......Oh, Von says I've got the wrong Fugate. She says that this one was nice and played well with others. Congrats to him, too.

Smiley - Apparently Prince took umbrage with what I said about him yesterday.  Got 2 good hits last night!  Now they're talking about bringing in some guy, who's name I can't pronounce, to play 3rd base.  Beltre may go on DL.  [frown]
