Place: Dallas Comments: Sounds great Sandy, date is definitely on our calendar and we will be there!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Place: Richardson Comments: Ok, it's official. Our Mini will be held at the Hyatt Hotel in Richardson, which is located on the NE corner of Hwy 75 & Campbell Rd. Here's the link to invite: http://www.soc1966.com/events.html I have updated the invitation on our EVENTS pg & will be calling our "not connected No PC" friends & sending emails to those I know don't look very often at our site. So spread the word and encourage those who haven't attended lately. Would like to see another good crowd for this Mini.
Place: Richardson Comments: Stopped in at some hotels today and I think I've got one nailed down. Mgr is supposed to call me in the mrng to confirm. Will let everyone know as soon as it's confirmed and then add Hotel name to the invite on our Events pg. Gosh it's hot in the house tonight. Thinking about turning on the air!
Place: Richardson Comments: Sammy-I did go back and look again at the em and all I recvd was the photo. I can't explain . . . don't get me to lying. I got the cute pic posted this mrng. Our triplets LOVE Kid Country and always want to go there. Great place!! I'm getting more and more photos from many of you taken & sent via y'alls IPhones (or whatever model you have) and that's OK. However, many of you have your pho set to take small resolution pics, or it's just the way the pho takes it, but the photos are small and can't be enlarged. Goodness knows I've tried. So if I get small photos with very little resolution, they will remain that way bec any effort to enlarge them for P&J posting blurs the image and it's no larger desirable. Just wanted you to know in case you wonder why some photos are so small. Thanks!
Place: Coppell Comments: Sandy, I sent you the info for the grandkids picture. Not for sure why the info I included was not sent with their picture.
Place: Richardson Comments: It was a great Opening Day, beautiful day, lots of new faces and names to learn how to pronounce. Too bad we lost 14 to 10!!!
Place: 66erville Comments: All in favor of SNL being centerfield please say AYE.

Well, a-beat the drum and hold the phone The sun came out today We're born again, there's new grass on the field A-roundin' third and headed for home It's a brown-eyed handsome man Anyone can understand the way I feel Oh, put me in coach, I'm ready to play today Put me in coach, I'm ready to play today Look at me, I can be centerfield
Place: Richardson Comments: You guys are cracking me up! I guess us girls were just better behaved, no one ever threatened to whip my behind ( at least not in school)! Hey Sammy - got your photo last night but it has no info at all with it. I replied to your em asking for their names and are they your dtr's kids. Give me some names kiddo!
Place: Coppell Comments: Along the same lines as Dale and Robert, those of us who went to Lisbon Elementary school will never ( I mean never) forget the profound words of Principal Mr. Pilkington. A trip to his office was a learning experience as he said " Gentlemen, the Board Of Education will now be applied to the seat of knowledge". And indeed it was. I learned after my sixth or seventh trip to stuff Kleenex tissues in the back of my underwear to soften the blows. Ms Cargille, wondered why my tissue box on my desk was not as full as the other's. No thanks to Eddie Tankersley, she found out and that was the end of my underwear stuffing days.
Place: Garland USA Comments: Just checking in! SNL, looks like the guys are polishing their act for the upcoming mini!! Congratulations to Don Fugate on his retirement and on kicking off another year with the BMF Project. Sorry we could not be there. Our social calendar has been really full this weekend. We just returned from a very nice dinner at Amato's on the Square in McKinney with my son and his family. We will definitely go back again! Hope everyone has a great week!
Place: space city crashed and burned Comments: thank you dale, I could not remember names that good. Mr. Pitts told me one time that he was going to whip me till cried. Well I started laughing so hard at such an idea, that he said "stand up and get on up to detention hall, now that hurt.
Place: Lazy S Ranch Comments: Robert, I, also spent a considerable amount of time in the office swapping glutious maximus cells for detentions and other related acts. Since no one is burning up the GB right now I will relate a quick story. Several years ago my school district was selected in the first round to undergo a new TEA evaluation system called DEC (district effectiveness and compliance). We prepared like crazy and at the exit interview were given an "Exemplary" rating. The next year at the TASA/TASB convention in Houston I was asked by TEA to give a speech to the administrators and school board members on how to prepare for a DEC visit. There were about 4,000 in the auditorium so I didn't make eye contact with all in attendance. After the presentation I was up front answering questions when I was approached by MR. Pitts and Mr. Sam Pugh who said "Smiley, we both would have bet you would never finish high school, much less be telling us what to do to prepare for a UIL visit. They both remembered busting my rear on several occasions. I think I was mistreated.
