Place: Richardson Comments: Jack we enjoyed seeing Glynda as well. I think many of us have had that lonely feeling for awhile. It was really good to get together with the girls and we were so glad Glynda could join us. π
Place: Sachse Comments: I want to thank you all for including Glynda. She has been so lonesome. She enjoyed it very much. It was such a treat for her to be with you all. I can not express how much I appreciate you all.
Place: Richardson Comments: The '66 girls had their luncheon today and we had lots of laughs and really enjoyed reconnecting. Always a good time when you can eat, drink and visit with old friends!
Place: Sunny & beautiful in Richardson Comments: Today is Thursday, 12-15. For the first time in a week, there was no fog, no mist, no rain and no clouds. Yea!!! Beautiful sunshine today and it feels so good. Hope all my SOC friends are doing well and looking forward to a blessed Christmas. I feel blessed each day I get up and am able to do a little house cleaning and drive myself to the stores to do errands and shopping. Tomorrow night, Friday, is the big state championship game for SOC. Go Bears.
Place: Richardson Comments: So nice to hear from Rusty. We will most likely have a Mini Get-Together in the Spring. Hopefully you & Tammie will be able to attend. It has been foggy here every morning and I saw on the sports news last night that SOC played in the fog. It was so low on the field they could hardly see a pass! That's why it was a low scoring game of SOC 14 and Argyle 6. It just keeps raining, almost every day. Fog, mist or rain.
Place: Carthage, Texas Comments: Great to hear from Rusty Powers. I sent you an email and keep in touch on SOC 66
Place: mancos, colorado Comments: Just a quick FYI. We now live in Mancos, Co, about 18 miles west of Durango. I've missed most of the reunions...hopefully this site will help. I miss the old gang. Take care, Rusty
Place: Richardson Comments: I'm looking forward to seeing all the girls as well Carol. If you need more info, go to our EVENTS pg on our site it's got all the details. Here's a direct link so you don't have to look for it. https://www.soc1966.com/company.html

Place: Kerrville Comments: The entrance to you area looks great Sandy. We went to eat Italian food with the kids and saw all of the front entrances were decorated. Great job.
Place: Sunny & Nice in Richardson Comments: Finally, today we had sunshine all day. Don brought down decor from attic and put up Christmas lights out front. I went to the HOA storage room and picked up decor and then put it all up at our HOA entry. Can't believe both done and not even Dec 1 yet! Now to tackle the tree and decor inside the house. It looks good all next week without rain here in DFW area. Good time for Christmas shopping and decorating!
Place: Richardson Comments: Yes it does Jack. Most all of us have now lost our moms and it does leave a hole in our heart. One that never heals or fills back back up. Just an empty spot. Again, to Larry, my heartfelt condolences on losing your mom the morning before Thanksgiving.
Place: Sachse Comments: So sorry for your loss, Larry. Losing our Moms leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
Place: Overland Park, KS Comments: Larry - My condolences to you and your family. Prayers for comfort and peace. π |
