Place: Richardson Comments: Today, Jan 8, is Sally Taylor's B-day! Happy B-day Sally!! Hope you are having a good day and celebrating with your daughter. I believe y'all share a birthday. Fun Fact: today is also Elvis Presley's B-day as well as our classmate Mike Dunn. Unfortunately, Elvis & Mike are no longer with us.

Place: Drizzly in Richardson Comments: Today is Jan. 2nd, the new week begins, although lots of businesses and the Gov. are all off. 12th day of Don not feeling well, although it's slightly better, he's still got congestion. I've still got bad sinus for the 7th day. Supposed to get rain today, maybe it will wash away what's causing so many of us to be sick. Place: Richardson Comments: Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. Wow, this year seems a blur. Won't be going out, Don has been sick since last Thursday and just feeling a bit better yesterday and today. I woke up Tuesday with bad sinus. Doing a little better today. Will stay in and watch the Country NYE bash from Nashville. Lots & lots of great singers, it was great last year. Seems NYE colors are all black & gold. So Happy New Year to one and all. Stay safe and may God bless us all with better health and the continued friendships we've made along our journey.

Place: Richardson Comments: Tried to get everything done before 3pm so I can watch the Cowboys game against the Eagles. Maybe one more thing after game and then get it all together to load up in the morning. Want to wish Jerry & Jack, along with all my SOC '66 group and other SOC Friends, a very Merry Christmas. So thanks to you and Jack who are my longest and dearest friends. Here's wishing many more. I have not posted for a while, but I did see where this past year has had some challenges for you, may next year be better for you. Place: Cold in Richardson Comments: Well, it's 12-22 almost 8pm and it's 14 degrees. Expecting 9 in the morning. Fire going & heat warming us. At least we aren't iced and snowed in like we were in Feb 2021. The NE is horrible with ice and snow and blizzard conditions. At least here by Saturday it will be OK. Those poor folks in the NE have it bad, especially if you are stuck in an airport! Stay warm and safe. Merry Christmas SOCites. May God bless and keep safe the class of '66. Merry Christmas

Place: Richardson, TX (until sunrise tomorrow) Comments: SO THANKFUL for this weekend! It was wonderful to see SOC friends - and it was extra special to have Glynda join us. ❤️ I drove by Gordy Johnson’s house last night. All who live in the Dallas area should see his spectacular decorations; this may be the last year for the display. Thank you, Gordy, for the fabulous display. Today I visited the DFW National Cemetery. Yesterday was Wreaths Across America Day, when volunteers placed wreaths at all the gravesites in all of our country’s national cemeteries. There were many people at DFW today; it was a humbling experience. Love to all. |
