Place: North Richland Hills, TX Comments: Sandy, I just looked through the pictures of the mini which are great. Everyone looks great and the bar! I can't believe that's the same place. It looks twice as big. There was quite a crowd. Jeannie and Sheryl were there! I haven't seen them in so long! Thanks for doing the pictures. I'll try to get a check in the mail to you this week.
Place: Richardson Comments: OK, I know it took awhile but, I finally got all the pics posted from the Mini and the dinner. Go to our website and click on tab for Mini photos. After looking at all the current pics, scroll through some of the earlier Minis below our current album. Look at all the people in the pre-pandemic photos that are no longer with us. That's why I encourage each of you at every Mini to try hard to make it because you may not get another chance to hug a friend and chat about good old memories!! Tired! But I finally got what I wanted. We finished the backyard a week ago.Yes, Bovie is right, we went 2 and a half years without a Mini due to Covid. Then we had our 1st last May. I did collect some money last year. But, if any of you who can afford $20 as a donation to keep the fund alive and well . . . it will be great! Please make check payable to: SOC '66 Reunion, not me! Then mail it to me at 2801 Ashbury Dr. Richardson, TX 75082. I think 2023 is a year for rebuilding and regrouping. Would love to have one more big party for our group!! And yes, we will still have our Mini Reunions as long as some of you still attend!!

Place: North Richland Hills, TX Comments: It sounds like the mini Saturday night was a huge success! Sorry I couldn't make it, but maybe I can get there in the fall. I enjoyed reading all the feedback on the party. Looking forward to seeing the photos. Sandy, you're getting to be a real party pro and all the 66ers are benefiting from your talents and hard work. Kudos to you! Saturday night was also mine and Jake's 34th anniversary and went to dinner at a new place for us. Good steaks and desserts.
Place: League City Comments: Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the old gang again. Hopefully we twisted enough arms to get some of our friends to come visit us sometime. Thanks Sandy for making the arrangements. It was top notch.
Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, I found my phone in the driver's seat when I got into my car! Apparently it fell out of my pocket when I was driving to El Fenix. It seemed everyone I talked with as we were leaving and today said they had a great time! I know I did!! Thanks to everyone, all 40 of you, who made the effort to be there yesterday, it was super fun and I enjoyed it so much. It was a pleasure arranging the get-together and El Fenix because it brought such fun, laughter and joy to all of us. I will be planning a Fall Mini. P.S. Judy Bass, your name goes in the slot where you wrote "Mini". But I knew it was you. Was really great seeing you & Linda yesterday!!

AND ,,,,,....Mums the word re: our times at the" Coral Gates Apts" on Live Oak.. I didn't say a WORD at the Mini, I promise. P.S... Place: McKinney, TX Comments: What a great time we had seeing everyone today! I saw people I haven’t seen in a very long time. We thoroughly enjoyed all the conversations. Everyone looked fantastic. I’m reminded that our group is one tough group with spouses to match. My apologies for the overdose of Purple Martins! He is completely obsessed. I’m learning to just go along with it. In any event, had a really great time with so many dear and special friends! Those of you that weren’t able to be there missed one heck of a get together! Thank you for getting our reservation at El Fenix, Sandy. I hope you find your phone. Later!
Place: Kerrville Comments: hope you all enjoyed the round of drinks I called and ordered for you! I am testing negative for COVID now but the pneumonia has really worn me out. I get things done for about an hour and then have to rest for a couple. We went to dinner tonight with a neighbor. She came to see me in the hospital. I did not know until tonight that her Dad passed away three weeks ago with COVID and pneumonia. That was why she came - to make sure they were doing everything she thought they should. miss all of you.
