Place: KC, MO Comments: WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!
Place: Richardson Comments: You're right Toni, I did say that. I have taken pics as it was before and then along the way as it was all torn down to the studs in the wall. And then removed the studs bec they were covered in mold and rotting. I'll do my best to put some up on FB. Info regarding Smokey - Spoke with Larry and Smokey is about to be moved to a different facility. He didn't say why & for now I'm not asking. He will let me know as soon as he has an address. And yes, he thinks cards or notes from old friends would do wonders for him. Will let you know as soon as I know. Enjoy this fabulous Fall weather!!!!!
Place: Garland USA Comments: Sandy, you promised pictures when the bathroom was completed....tick..toc...tick...toc! I know it's pretty!
Place: Richardson Comments: Great idea Tanya!! I'll ask if there is an address his dtr could give us and if OK to send cards.
Place: Pottsboro Comments: Thank you for information on Smokey. He is one of the dearest of dears from our SOC classmates. Only wish him the very best. Sounds like he is in a good place for his condition and will keep the prayers on the rise for him and family. Thank you Sandy for the update, there are so very many praying for his recovery from all classes that think so highly of him. Maybe someone could post an address for cards to be sent, I know they meant a lot to me when I was in the hospital and maybe it would help trigger his comprehension. Thanks again for the update, all news is good news for us on the other end.
Place: Richardson Comments: This morning for the first time we took a shower in the new bath!! Yiippppee!!!! I know it sounds silly, but I hated using it. It was so pretty I hated messing it up!! ![]() I had to turn on the heat this morning when I got up to break the chill in the house. I do believe Fall has finally gotten here.
Place: Richardson Comments: Yea!!!! The 2nd em did the trick, we're back to normal. Well, maybe that's not the perfect word for this grp!!! Yes, GO ROYALS!!!! They are a tough and run scoring machine! Love watching them. Yesterday we celebrating the finishing touches on the major master bath remodel!!!! Spent many hours Fri, Sat & Sun CLEANING. Oh my, the dust that has collected in all the molding, crevices, furniture, etc. We cleaned our closet top to bottom. our bedroom and the bath. It was amazing how much dust collected on the light fixtures and the crown molding. We were whipped last night after all the cleaning, but couldn't wait to drag out the decor. We put out our towels, vase, wall hangings, etc and oh my. . . it's gorgeous!!! Anyway, it was a long time in the making, but it turned out even better than our expectations. Just glad it's all finished!!
Place: 66erville Comments: SNL: if it a yankee outfit, they maybe closed for Columbus Day. Go Royals!!!
Place: Richardson Comments: I'm having trouble reaching the Cust Serv for GB. I don't think they work on the weekends! I'm going to again send em about our screwed-up GB pg.
Place: KC, MO Comments: 6 games down - 6 games to go! (I'm counting on a continuous sweep.) I just wish that the boys in blue would start putting the games away in the 6th inning or so. These "nail biters" are taking their toll! An unexpected side effect of the Royals' championship march - crime is down in the KC area! Capture the Crown, ROYALS! Love to all - Carol
Place: Richardson Comments: I don't know what's happened?? Usually if a large out of proportion post throws things our of kilter, once I adjust the post, everything goes back into place. Not tonight! If it's still s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out of shape tomorrow, I'll get in touch with them and see if they can put it back in synch. Wow, its been cool all day, feels like fall this evening!!
Place: DS Comments: No problem Robert! Makes it a easier to read. Chicken chili sounds pretty good and a lot health. Hope you are doing better.
