Place: Cold & Drizzly in Richardson Comments: Sammy - I feel sorry for the 4 people in your family who aren't sick yet! They're probably waiting for the hammer to drop! Y'all take care of yourselves and sitting by a warm fire with a warm toddy sounds wonderful. We're picking up the triplets Monday and then Don will take them back Jan 1. So our NY's won't be as peaceful as yours! But we'll find something fun to do with them. Hope everyone drives safely and watches out for those drunk wrong-way drivers that seem to be on the road a lot these days!!HAPPY NEW YEAR'S TO ALL MY SOC FRIENDS AND MAY WE ALL HAVE GOOD HEALTH AND CONTINUE OUR FRIENDSHIPS FOR MANY YEARS TO COME!!
Place: Lake Tawakoni Comments: Well Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all. We went to Highland Park on Christmas Eve to the candle light services at Park Cities with The Hale family then Christmas Day in McKinney with the Smith family. Although it was fun being with the grandkids, out of a total of 13 people, 9 of us had ( have ) the flu. Tami Flu in all the households. Stay safe this coming New Year's Eve. Sarah and I will be inside our home by a cozy fireplace with wine watching the Ball in NY. drop. Hope all of you are well. God Bless.
Place: Richardson Comments: It's never too late JS! Thanks to all for the great B-day wishes here and on FB. Yes, Don and I didn't do any work around the house and I didn't cook a single thing. We ate lunch & diner out and enjoyed a good movie, Gone Girl. Tmo he is going to try & fix the problem with the darn pull-out hose that hangs on the hot/cold faucets under the cabinet. Wish us luck!!
Place: WI USA Comments: Please accept our most respectful and heartfelt Christmas wish for all of my SOC classmates and wish all of you guys the best of everything into the coming year. Life is alright, Kathy has now officially retired and we plan to travel starting in mid February. Our Kids, Jena and Brian are doing wonderful with respectful spouses Rob and Beth. However, as most of you already know...it is the grandchildren that take our breath away...almost every day. Not sure we could ever again do without Jacob (8) - Ryan (5) and Joey (4). May God Bless all of you and your families during this wonderful season and into the new year.
Place: 66erville Comments: A belated HAPYY BIRTHDAY to the two strangest twins ever, Jerry Tillery and SNL! With wishes for many more and that we will be together to celebrate them. MERRY CHRISTMAS to one and all!! Hope that the new year will be the best one yet for us all. There is hope for all us old duffers. Just saw where a 104 yr old man made a hole in one!!
Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: Is it too late to sneak in a Birthday Greeting to SNL? Hope Don took time away from his plumbing job to treat you to a royal celebration!
Place: Richardson Comments: Jerry - You are always so sweet to remember "our" B-day! Mine was a great day, hope yours was too! Nice to know my twin is still alive & kickin' and you do check-in occasionally. Happy B-day to you and me and may we still be sharing B-days for many years to come.
Place: Oregun Comments: I guess we would qualify as strange as any place so come on up, would be happy to have you.
Place: Cypress springs Comments: You never know Rod ....I have been known to show up in some pretty strange places since we got the RV.
Place: Houston Comments: It has been a while since I last posted on the guestbook. I check in fairly regularly to keep up with what is going on. Just need to post today to wish my twin a Happy Birthday. Also, to wish everyone else a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Place: Oregun Comments: So Karen, does that mean that if we get one you will come to Oregon and play with our faucet ? You showing up here would be worth buying one.
Place: Cypress springs Comments: Everyone I talked with on the touch faucets said they are really great...if you only have adults around always. Kids are fascinated by them. So am I....so if you get them invite me over so I can play! lol. I am like you sandy...I opted for the turn on and off. Bobby is finished with the BR. Which is good because he had the tree trimmer out today and it malfunctioned and he ended up with four stitches in his finger. He is grounded from everything now.
Place: Richardson Comments: Toni - No I didn't see Sue's mom's obit. It was during the 3 days we were gone. I just skimmed over the papers when I got back. Thanks for letting us know . . . I went back and looked it up.
Place: Richardson Comments: Thanks Rod. Don said if for any reason this doesn't work well enough he'll put some kind of diverter in front of them to keep it from hanging. Ours stick out really far & the other one would work for 3-4 weeks, then hang up. I was always under the cabinet untangling it. I miss not using the sprayer. I have a very large sink and I sure miss not being able to spray the water around to clean it. But Mr. Fix It will get it fixed for me!
Place: Oregun Comments: Thanks Sandy, I think we will go the same route you did, I don't need anything else that could go wrong. As for your sprayer hose getting caught, I had the same problem so I covered the valves so the hose hung in front of them. They haven't hung up yet. |
