I finally made the decision.  Bought a new Moen faucet for my kitchen.  Don & I will attempt to install the new faucet and move the disposal from right side to left side on Sunday.  Sure hope it looks as nice in my kitchen as it did in the store!

McMakin - I looked on the Moen & Delta sites to get all the specs and info & then made copies, including pic, of the 3-4 I liked.  We spent several hrs in ea, Lowes/Home Depot, and have it narrowed to two.  Both are sold exclusively at the H.D. Today I'm going back for a 2nd look.  If I can purchase one Don said we can do the change out this weekend.  But, I don't want just a new faucet . . .  I want him to move my garbage disposal from one side to the other!  So that adds a lot more work.  When all the appliances were installed after the kitchen was finished the guy said, "Or you left or right handed?"  I told him right and he said "Ok, you want the disposal on the right."
However, that was not the best choice.  You see, my dishwasher is on the Left and the larger portion of the sink where I like to rinse my dishes is also on the Left.  So we are going to replace the faucet and remove and replace the disposal, which entails a few pipes being moved around.  Never easy, but I will be much happier when it's changed and I have a new high arch faucet.  You know the old saying, "When mama's happy . . . .  !!"  [biggrin]

Sandy, have you been to Lowes.  They usually have a very good selection and all prices.
Finished my shopping  this evening.  Lots of cleaning to do and baking to do.
Talked to Charles a few weeks ago. He sounded good and said he was feeling pretty good. He had  Thanksgiving at his mother's with his sister and brother-in-law.  Also mentioned that Rosemary was in town.  I believe her mother fell and was going to have hip surgery.  I guess this is how rumors start!  So don't quote me on that.
Your kitchen is very pretty.  Saw it on FB.  What's your next project?

Sandy - I have been busy trying to find the "Don't throw stones in glass houses" passage in The Good Book.  [smile]  (Just couldn't resist.)  [biggrin]

Wish that I could see your Cowboys tree.  How are their prospects, by the way?  I'm afraid the Chiefs may be out of this year's picture.

I'm officially out of the office until Wednesday - but I may "bank" a few overtime hours on Saturday or Sunday.

Everyone try to have a good weekend.  It can be a hectic time of year.

Love to all - Carol

Apparently everyone is busy shopping, decorating, wrapping, cooking and other things to get ready for Christmas.  I'm desperately looking for a new kitchen faucet.  The duct tape is firmly holding the part that broke, but now there's a constant trickle from the spout down the handle to the counter when it's on.  And it's on a lot!  Plus the G-kids are coming back right after Christmas for a few days and our kitchen is the hub of everything.

Have really been searching the Internet looking at Moen & Delta for a high arch stainless single handle faucet.  Can't take the leaking water on my counter much longer!!

Sandy, thanks for posting a pic of your Cowboys tree on FB, I was hoping you would. Now if the 'Boys can give us all some playoff wins for Christmas, that would be great. I might be an Oregon Duck fan, especially because they are one of my accounts but I am forever a Cowboys fan.

Sunday Don & I spent the afternoon at Peaches house (cl of '63) for her annual Christmas luncheon.  This makes at least 9-10 yrs she has done this.  It was so much fun visiting with SOC Friends from '63 thru 65, I was the only 66er.  Got to visit with John & Dru and some other good folks I don't see too often.  Her house is decorated so beautiful and the food is always great!!

Got about 70% of Christmas decorating done Saturday and then finished up Monday.  Today, decorated the 4 ft. Cowboys Christmas tree that's upon the bridge. It's so cute all done in blue & silver!

TNX Shortcake!  I'm going to be changing out the image here on the GB every few days.  I also added images to each of our web sites pgs.  Except all the Reunion and Get-Together pgs.  They are so full of photos they can't hold another image!

I am sitting inside by the Christmas tree watching him in a coat and hat freezing his ...... off operating his drill on the deck.  And they say women are crazy!!! [crazy]  I am thinking the guys have us beat hands down.  Now - as far as the six months go SNL - if he were to take that long I would be on the phone getting his brother and a few other people here to help him finish up.  His brother build for a living.  Patience is not one of my virtues when it comes to the house....especially when it comes to dust!  GREAT - he and his drill just strolled through!!!  I think I have some shopping to do somewhere!  [rofl]

Shortcake, a month is nothing.  When it hits 6 months, then you can start complaining!  [rolleyes] [rofl]  After resting up last night we went out today and bought Christmas gifts for the 2 girls.  Tomorrow I'll look for the boys gifts.
Now we're tired, think I'll go put my fluffy house shoes and PJs on and settle in for a long winters nap.

We had a great Thanksgiving at my brothers house!  G-kids arrived about 1:30 Wed and their Mom picked them up about an hour or so ago.  Lots of fun and a non-stop 3 days!  Lots of food and yummy desserts too, I'm still stuffed.

Took kids to our Dollar movie last night to see How to Train Your Dragon 2.  Cute show and the kids were happy!  Hope everyone had a safe and bountiful Thanksgiving.
