Place: January 3 Comments: Happy New Year to you & yours Rod! I'm excited about the Cowboys being in the first playoff game in 5 yrs. I can hardly wait until tmo afternoon. ![[biggrin]](/images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif "Big Grin - :D") I believe we will beat Detroit and then on to our nemesis in the frozen tundra!! Look out JD . . . here we come!!! ![[wink]](/images/boards/smilies/wink.gif "Wink - ;)") Right now I'm pooped. We spent 6 hrs yesterday undecorating the trees, putting everything back in its box & getting the big plastic containers ready to be stored in the short closet under the stairway. This morning we put all the "normal" stuff back in its place at the house, but not before dusting. No matter how hard I try it takes 2 days to get it all packed and put away and everything back to normal. This afternoon when the sun came out we undecorated the yard and took down the wreaths & garland at the HOA entries. I'm pooped, gotta go rest now. Glad to see the Cowboys playing so well, maybe they will make it past the first round. Happy New Year to all, let's all be careful in 2015 and have a great year.

Kids go home tomorrow, Friday is recuperation day. Sat is take down the Christmas & NY decorations and put tings back to normal. And last, but not least on my list . . . Sunday afternoon is Watching Da 'Boys beat Detroit!!! GO COWBOYS!!! I can hardly wait!
Place: Garland USA Comments: Thanks for thinking about my birthday Jack! It's going to be here soon enough! SNL, I've been thinking about you. Don't party so hard with the kiddos that you're too pooped to party with me! Just wanted to wish everyone a very safe and prosperous New Year! Don't forget the blackeyed peas, cabbage and cornbread!! Happy 2015 to All!!!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Been a long day. Seems all the kids do is eat! Breakfast, then a snack. Lunch, then dessert. Snack, then dinner. Just finished dessert and one last clean up of the kitchen. Told then "Kitchen is closed " for the night! They're a ball of energy from morning till night. They put the new K'nex kits together (over 400 pieces in each set) today and have been playing with them. Last yr they each got a big Roller Coaster and this year one got a Ferris Wheel & the other a Tilt-a Whirl. They call it their circus! They even put little arm men on the rides. Now I'm going to put on my PJs and get off my feet. Kids are so much fun, always something new every minute. Need to rest up for tomorrow's challenge! Place: Garland USA Comments: SNL/Jerry Tillery....happy belated birthday to both of you! Sorry that I didn't post sooner. Hope it was a great one for each of you! Bruce got a flu shot while in the hospital recently but I hadn't managed to find the time to stop long enough to get one. And wouldn't you just know what happened - yes, we BOTH got the flu! We managed to get well a lot faster this time than two years ago. I did get a flu shot just in case (not sure what good they are anymore) and thought my arm was going to fall off. Anyway, hope all who are "under the weather" are feeling much better really soon. Hope everyone had a great Christmas celebration. I know we did. We hope that everyone has a safe and happy new year's celebration doing whatever makes you happy! SNL...I hope you don't forego the grandones' pictures. I really enjoy seeing them! Happy New Year!!
Place: Forgot something!! Comments: I also meant to let you know I posted two P&J photos. Sammy's and my Grandones!! If anyone else has a Christmas photo you want posted to the 2014 album, please send it. Since the Pride & Joy pg has waned and most of you prefer to post them on FB for instant viewing by thousands, I don't think I will do a 2015 album. I'll keep the 2014 & 13 albums posted, but thinking of something new to do. Seems most have lost interest in posting them here. Guess everyone hangs out on FB.
