Please accept our most respectful and heartfelt Christmas wish for all of my SOC classmates and wish all of you guys the best of everything into the coming year.

Life is alright, Kathy has now officially retired and we plan to travel starting in mid February.

Our Kids, Jena and Brian are doing wonderful with respectful spouses Rob and Beth. However, as most of you already know...it is the grandchildren that take our breath away...almost every day.

Not sure we could ever again do without Jacob (8) - Ryan (5) and Joey (4).

May God Bless all of you and your families during this wonderful season and into the new year.

Is it too late to sneak in a Birthday Greeting to SNL? Hope Don took time away from his plumbing job to treat you to a royal celebration!

Jerry - You are always so sweet to remember "our" B-day!  Mine was a great day, hope yours was too!  Nice to know my twin is still alive & kickin' and you do check-in occasionally.  Happy B-day to you and me and may we still be sharing B-days for many years to come. [kiss]

It has been a while since I last posted on the guestbook.  I check in fairly regularly to keep up with what is going on.  Just need to post today to wish my twin a Happy Birthday.  Also, to wish everyone else a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

So Karen, does that mean that if we get one you will come to Oregon and play with our faucet ? You showing up here would be worth buying one.

Everyone I talked with on the touch faucets said they are really great...if you only have adults around always. Kids are fascinated by them. So am I....so if you get them invite me over so I can play! lol. I am like you sandy...I opted for the turn on and off.
Bobby is finished with the BR. Which is good because he had the tree trimmer out today and it malfunctioned and he ended up with four stitches in his finger. He is grounded from everything now.

Toni - No I didn't see Sue's mom's obit.  It was during the 3 days we were gone.  I just skimmed over the papers when I got back.  Thanks for letting us know . . . I went back and looked it up.

Thanks Rod.  Don said if for any reason this doesn't work well enough he'll put some kind of diverter in front of them to keep it from hanging.  Ours stick out really far & the other one would work for 3-4 weeks, then hang up. I was always under the cabinet untangling it.  I miss not using the sprayer.  I have a very large sink and I sure miss not being able to spray the water around to clean it.  But Mr. Fix It will get it fixed for me!  [smile]

Thanks Sandy, I think we will go the same route you did, I don't need anything else that could go wrong.
As for your sprayer hose getting caught, I had the same problem so I covered the valves so the hose hung in front of them. They haven't hung up yet.

We've been in Houston the last 3 days visiting with Don's mom & his family. Got back late yesterday and tired!

The new faucet went in easy, he didn't even have any problem with moving the disposal from one side to the other.  BUT, there's always a catch . . .  it seemed too easy!  It appears the Moen coil that goes to the pull-out sprayer on the faucet hangs differently under the cabinet than the previous one.  It catches on the two water turn off valves. Darn it!!!  I do love the Moen!! It's sleek, smooth and works wonderfully, except the pull out hanging underneath!  We decided tda that we'd wait until the Fri after Christmas to fix the problem.  Don will have to cut the two water lines to shorten them and put new little knobs on them so the coil will clear.  So for now I have a beautiful faucet, just can't use the pullout.

Rod - I researched those "Touch" on/off for Delta and Moen.  I was t-h-i-s close to buying one, but after reading about a hundred comments about the faucet, I chickened out and bought the old fashion turn-it-on-yourself kind.
Some comments were good, some were bad.  But I figured if I have to have either batteries or 110 to make it work it has more opportunities to have problems. Does anyone have one of the new "Touch" type faucets?? If so, let us know what you think and what kind you have.

We are going to upgrade our kitchen faucet too, thinking about one of those you touch to turn on, anyone have any experience with them ?
I hope all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

SNL - you're going to enjoy the new Moen faucet.  BTW-your Cowboy tree is really cute!!  We parted with our huge (1550 lights) tree this year and bought two tall cashmere pencil trees to flank our fireplace.  We have so much more room now - we love them!

Did anyone other than me notice that Sue Ash McDow's mom, Pauline Birdsong, passed away recently?
