And last, but not least on my list . . . Sunday afternoon is Watching Da 'Boys beat Detroit!!! GO COWBOYS!!! I can hardly wait!

Don't party so hard with the kiddos that you're too pooped to party with me! Just wanted to wish everyone a very safe and prosperous New Year! Don't forget the blackeyed peas, cabbage and cornbread!! Place: Richardson Comments: Been a long day. Seems all the kids do is eat! Breakfast, then a snack. Lunch, then dessert. Snack, then dinner. Just finished dessert and one last clean up of the kitchen. Told then "Kitchen is closed " for the night! They're a ball of energy from morning till night. They put the new K'nex kits together (over 400 pieces in each set) today and have been playing with them. Last yr they each got a big Roller Coaster and this year one got a Ferris Wheel & the other a Tilt-a Whirl. They call it their circus! They even put little arm men on the rides. Now I'm going to put on my PJs and get off my feet. Kids are so much fun, always something new every minute. Need to rest up for tomorrow's challenge! Place: Garland USA Comments: SNL/Jerry Tillery....happy belated birthday to both of you! Sorry that I didn't post sooner. Hope it was a great one for each of you! Bruce got a flu shot while in the hospital recently but I hadn't managed to find the time to stop long enough to get one. And wouldn't you just know what happened - yes, we BOTH got the flu! We managed to get well a lot faster this time than two years ago. I did get a flu shot just in case (not sure what good they are anymore) and thought my arm was going to fall off. Anyway, hope all who are "under the weather" are feeling much better really soon. Hope everyone had a great Christmas celebration. I know we did. We hope that everyone has a safe and happy new year's celebration doing whatever makes you happy! SNL...I hope you don't forego the grandones' pictures. I really enjoy seeing them! Happy New Year!!
Place: Forgot something!! Comments: I also meant to let you know I posted two P&J photos. Sammy's and my Grandones!! If anyone else has a Christmas photo you want posted to the 2014 album, please send it. Since the Pride & Joy pg has waned and most of you prefer to post them on FB for instant viewing by thousands, I don't think I will do a 2015 album. I'll keep the 2014 & 13 albums posted, but thinking of something new to do. Seems most have lost interest in posting them here. Guess everyone hangs out on FB.
Place: Cold & Drizzly in Richardson Comments: Sammy - I feel sorry for the 4 people in your family who aren't sick yet! They're probably waiting for the hammer to drop! Y'all take care of yourselves and sitting by a warm fire with a warm toddy sounds wonderful. We're picking up the triplets Monday and then Don will take them back Jan 1. So our NY's won't be as peaceful as yours! ![[rofl]](/images/boards/smilies/rofl.gif "Rofl - :lol:") But we'll find something fun to do with them. Place: Lake Tawakoni Comments: Well Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all. We went to Highland Park on Christmas Eve to the candle light services at Park Cities with The Hale family then Christmas Day in McKinney with the Smith family. Although it was fun being with the grandkids, out of a total of 13 people, 9 of us had ( have ) the flu. Tami Flu in all the households. Stay safe this coming New Year's Eve. Sarah and I will be inside our home by a cozy fireplace with wine watching the Ball in NY. drop. Hope all of you are well. God Bless.
Place: Richardson Comments: It's never too late JS! Thanks to all for the great B-day wishes here and on FB. Yes, Don and I didn't do any work around the house and I didn't cook a single thing. We ate lunch & diner out and enjoyed a good movie, Gone Girl. Tmo he is going to try & fix the problem with the darn pull-out hose that hangs on the hot/cold faucets under the cabinet. Wish us luck!! |
