Place: Lake Tawakoni Comments: True, the refs botched that call; however, the Cowboys should not have made that play the make it or break it play. They had 8 missed tackles, Romo staying in the pocket too long, and the Murray fumble. There were too many missed opportunities to win that game. Rooting for the Pack J.D. To beat the Seahawks.
Place: bigD Comments: Sandy, I think the refs saw it right the first time. both feet touched the ground and dez had the ball all the way to the ground.
Place: Richardson Comments: The Cowboys couldn't pull it off. Thought we had it with that miraculous catch by Dez but . . . well, the refs saw it differently. Congrats JD. Good luck against the Seahawks next week.
Place: Cowboys Country Comments: Well JD . . . this is truly a great match-up! I just spoke with Barb few minutes ago. 47 yrs ago when the Ice Bowl was played during the day on 12-31-1967, Donnie & Barb, Everett & Susan, Treva & Bill and me and my 1st husband were at my apt that night celebrating NYE!! Then 12 days later, Don & Barb ran off and got married. Good Memories! JD - I appreciate the nice comments, but I do believe we will win today!!!! It's going to be close, but think we'll come out on top. Go Cowboys!
Place: Packerland USA Comments: SNL and all of the Cowboy Fans...we wish you the best in the game today...it will be a good time and fun to watch.
Place: Wisconsin Comments: It is sad to hear about the death of our friend and classmate Robert Norman. May God accept him into his heavenly world and we as friends never forget him or any of or classmates that have passed. It's a tough day. Also we send a prayer to Smokey.
Place: Garland USA Comments: So sad to hear that Smokey is not doing better. Thanks for the update Sandy! Jack, Bruce was sitting at the dinner table with me when our table shook! We get enough of the neighbors' music but the tremor was for real! So much so, Bruce's company has moved their machinery away from the old Texas Stadium to a safer (hopefully) location. I suppose it's safe to say...we're ready for some football!! Go Cowboys. BTW-sending belated birthday wishes to Sally Taylor.
Place: Oregun Comments: So who is the oldest now, if anyone is willing to admit it ?
Place: Richardson Comments: It is indeed sad to learn of Robert Norman's passing. He is the 77th classmate to pass away from our SOC '66 class. He was also the oldest classmate ans took pride in knowing he was the oldest. It's always difficult to make changes on the In Memoriam page as it means we've lost another friend.
Place: Richardson Comments: Carol & All, No to Richard, No to Don. But I contacted Larry Dunn late this evening and he was kind enough to respond back quickly. I asked how Smokey was doing and if he was still in rehab at TIRR. This is Larry's response, "Smokey has been in and out of hospitals with pneumonia, etc. Hopefully he will go to TIRR when he is stable! The family asked to save correspondence until he will be able to appreciate it!"
Place: Southlake Comments: Sad to hear about Robert. I just talked with by email last month. just a nice guy.RIP. And a happy b day to mike and N.Y. Sally. Sally were you in the band at SOC?
Place: KC, MO Comments: Has anyone heard from Richard lately? What about Don Lincoln? Any updates regarding Smokey?
Place: KC, MO Comments: So sorry to hear of Robert's passing. I didn't know him well at SOC but certainly have enjoyed getting to know him at least a little via his posts. May God be good to him. Love to all - Carol
Place: 66erville Comments: Rest In Peace, Robert. Lord knows yours was not an easy life. Happy Birthday to Sally and Mike. I already wished Toni a happy birthday, remember? Toni, you're along way away from those quakes. You sure you don't have ghost? Or maybe it was just the bass beat from your neighbors house!
Place: DS Comments: Sorry to hear of Roberts passing. Praying for Jolae and family. I believe Robert was the oldest in our class. Happy birthday, Sally and Mike! Hope it's the best! |
