Place: Dallas Comments: Steve lived across the street from me, and Janie was in my John Neely Bryan classes. A super good guy. I have tried to remember the names of the other members of his band. I know Joe LeGrande was in sometimes, and maybe Mickey O'Reilly and Ronnie Castleberry. For the life of me I cannot remember the drummer. Anyone else have a clue?
Place: Southlake Comments: Janie, I'm so very sorry. Steve was my friend at Storey and SOC as you know we played music together. He was a good musician singer and just all round nice guy.
Place: Richardson Comments: Thanks Ronney, I had not checked FB yet today. It is sad indeed when someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, but even more heartbreaking when that person is in their early 60s or even late 50s. It's a long hard road for the family and when the end arrives it leaves you feeling as if you've been hit by a Mack Truck! My prayers have been, and will continue to be, for Janie and her children.
Place: Allen, TX Comments: Steve Gann (SOC 1965) passed away today. He has been suffering with Alezeimers for quite some time. His wife, Janie Jones (SOC1966), has stayed right there by his side and loving him more each day. My sadness and love go out to Janie and their family. Steve was a great friend to so many of us at SOC.
Place: hot back yards Comments: Gordon Roe, say hi to that Fool Bobby Brady for me. He could play the game and always made us laugh. You know 3 still hitting the pavement. I finished a pool today (Sunday) I started 3 months ago. The rains caused me a lot of delays. Hug your Bride for me. Take care, Sandy
Place: Northeast,Tx Comments: Just got a call from a long time friend Bob Brady, who went to grade Sc & Jr. Hi with. He's in from Georgia, Russia still not retired going strong. Don Brunson & Bob are the two people I know still working.
Place: Oregon Comments: Thank you everyone for the kind thoughts and words of encouragement, they are deeply appreciated. My sister and I had not spoken since Dad passed away 10 years ago but she made contact a couple of weeks ago and told my daughter she wanted to repair the situation. So, I didn't have a sister, then I did and now I don't. I honestly don't know what to feel. I don't think the reality has sunk in yet but I'm sure it will one day but for now, it is one day at a time. Thanks again - ROD
Place: Lake Tawakoni Comments: Rod, prayers for you and the family. So sorry to hear of her passing at a young age.
Place: Sachse Comments: Rod, we are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Place: The Woodlands Comments: Rod, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your sister was a darling person.
Place: Oregon Comments: Yes, she was 5 years younger. Something really odd, both my Mon and Linda's Mom passed away at 62, Debbie was just 2 weeks short of that. Linda an I were both very happy when she hit 63.
Place: Richardson Comments: Oh my Rod, I'm so sorry to hear this. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling loosing a sibling. Was Debbie your younger sister? God bless and keep you strong as you go thru this terrible time.
Place: Oregon Comments: For anyone who might remember my sister Debbie from being at baseball and football games, she passed away yesterday. She had a massive heart attack on Monday, was brought back 4 times but couldn't fight off the attack she had yesterday. She is now with Mon and Dad so she is in good company.
Place: Lazy S Ranch Comments: Jack, I thought KMD said the dishwasher was taking the G-kids to Galveston?
Place: 66erville Comments: Somebody call the TV networks! Reality program in process, how will Toni make it in a one horse town?? I'll bet she'll do just fine. After all, She will be just a hop, skip and a jump from Boom-town, Frisco. Don't know why KMD would worry. I'm sure Mike can resort to the old bachelor's trick. Not enough load to fill the dishwasher or the clothes washer? Simple, do both together in the dishwasher! |
