Place: Disney World Comments: Just got back from eight days at Disney World. I went to all the parks and Downtown Disney too. I left my footprints all over Florida. The Gkids ran me ragged. I had to relax in the hotel pool each evening. What a fantastic place it is.
Place: Oregun Comments: I remember some great Texas/OU weekends, the games and the city wide party. Texas was the only good thing all weekend, rangers, Cowboys, the Titan, Oregon and Oregon State all lost, pretty dismal sports weekend. Hope for better the rest of the season. Hope all are doing well __ ROD
Place: Richardson Comments: Don got to go to the TX/OU game and said it was great! Lots of good vibes in the Cotton Bowl. The Longhorns were the only good sports show in town this weekend. Cowboys lost . . . badly and our Rangers just couldn't seem to get the bats going. They lost Game 3. We were worn out by the time both games were over. But, today is Game 4 for the Rangers!!! We can wrap it up with a win. First pitch 3:07pm on FS1. Go Rangers!!!
Place: Woodlands Comments: Just got back from our weekend in Dallas for our annual trip to the Cotton Bowl. We are over the moon happy and thrilled our Longhorns beat Oklahoma!!!! Wow what an exciting game.
Place: Highland Park Comments: Marsha and Jeff are at the Cowboy game. Pop and Nana are with our three grandkids. Told Jeff they need to leave the stadium at 5:00 to beat the traffic. Can only imagine what a mad house it is.
Place: Richardson Comments: Big day in sports for the hometown crowd! Cowboys vs Patriots at 3:25 and Rangers vs Blue Jays at 7:10 both in Arlington! Can only imagine the traffic all day and into the night there along I30. Not much traffic here on the couch in Richardson, except the occasional runs to the kitchen for more chip and salsa!GO COWBOYS - - - - GO RANGERS
Place: Richardson Comments: After spending 5 1/2 hours at Foxii's Sports Bar in Murphy to watch game 2, I'm worn out. Took 14 innings to final bring a 6-4 victory to the Rangers!! We don't get the MLB Network so had to go to Sports Bar to see it. Thank goodness there's no game tomorrow, as we used all our Bullpen today with 5 extra innings. But WE WON! Now we'll be home for Game 3 and, hopefully, that 's all we need. GO RANGERS ! ! !
Place: Richardson Comments: Rangers had a big win yesterday in Canada beating the Blue Jays in their house! Today, they're showing Game 2 on MLB Network at 11:30am! Don't get MLB!!! In a few minutes we're heading to the local Sports Bar to eat lunch & watch the game. 11:30 am . . . Really??!! But this is what we wait for all season, a chance to play in an ALD Series and the chance to go to the Big Show! GO RANGERS!!!

Place: Richardson Comments: Roe - Put my name & # on your ID wrist band and I'll be there for you! That's what friends are for.I've been absent all weekend as Don & I left Fri mrng for Galveston! It was the "All 60s Alvin H.S. Reunion" weekend at the Moody Gardens Hotel. It was class of '65 50th & they did most of the organizing but all 60s classes were invited. Nolan Ryan was Cl 65 and Ruth was Cl 67. They arranged and paid for the Saturday night entertainment . . . BJ Thomas & The Triumphs! 3 hrs of great singing. BJ looked good and sounded great! I think his voice has gotten better as he's aged. Anyway, got in last night and worn out but it was a wonderful time. And yes, Nolan & Ruth were there at the events and stayed the whole time Saturday night. Although I felt bad for them because there was always a crowd around their table and everyone wanted their picture taken with he & Ruth. They were so nice and never refused. The only time they got any peace was when they were on the dance floor. We enjoyed the concert & dancing.
Place: Allen, Texas Comments: The world seems to get smaller every day. This morning, I was taking food to our church to feed a family lunch before a family member's funeral. I was talking to a member of our church while there. I have known this man for a couple of years. While talking, I discovered he went to Zumwalt and SOC (Class of 1965). Does anyone remember him? His name is Rick James. Needless to say, we had a lot of remembering old times, this morning!
Place: Northeast,Tx Comments: So Sandie if I get lost I'll put your name on my list of who to call. Sometimes I have a Sr. moments.
Place: Richardson Comments: JS - Perhaps you should have ran the detector thru his house, or maybe his pockets!
Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: Been a while since I last checked in on the Guest Book. I really like the story of the return of Goodloe's class ring. It's amazing how well gold holds up over the years. Just this morning I was called out to help search for a lost Virginia Tech class ring ... Class of 1959. The 78 yr. old owner was a little shakey about where in his yard he may have lost it. And conceded that it might well be in the house somewhere. He'd had a stroke 3 years ago and wasn't as sharp as he used to be. The location of the ring continues to be a mystery. Sometimes our rings just don't need us anymore and they quietly move on.
Place: TEXAS RANGER'S FAN Comments: We're so excited! If we win two of the last 4 (all with the Angels) we clinch the AL West! There are other scenarios but, 2 and we got it!! GO RANGERS!!
